I also thoroughly enjoyed my housemade chai, and usually I don’t like coffee but my wife ordered the ube latte and it was fire
The view on the balcony is beautiful overlooking the ocean, and if you choose to eat inside it’s just as nice. The 70s music is a great contribution to the vibe as well
Great experience overall.
Nice view of the ocean outside and plenty of seating available. Also good free parking situation. Tried the lavender latte and mocha latte, it was delicious!
My friend and I were going to stop by on our way home a few weeks ago, but we had to postpone due to the tsunami warning ⚠️
My mom and I were on our way to Lā’ie to visit the Mormon Temple, so we had to stop by the Hala Tree Cafe for brunch since it was on the way. ☕️
The portions are very generous, and the ingredients are fresh and of high quality. For most items there are half & full options. We ordered full sized portions since we were going to be out for quite some time, and it was perfect.
I ordered the smoked salmon toast, which was topped with arugula, red onions, and capers. The bread is DELICIOUS
My mom ordered the avocado toast, which is also topped with arugula, as well as cherry tomatoes and Hawaiian sea salt.
As for little Miss Izzy — she got the breakfast platter, which consisted of a homemade biscuit (more like an English scone) with blueberry compote and butter on the side, two cheddar egg bites, and a bowl of fresh blueberries and pineapple.
Can’t forget about the drinks! It is a coffee shop, after all. My mom ordered an iced jasmine tea (unsweetened), and I couldn’t resist trying their matcha with mango purée & coconut syrup. I chose coconut milk as my milk of choice, but they do have other options.
I can’t wait to come back for the views & the food. 10/10 for sure!
