Was here from Illinois to visit family. I was born here in Guin and haven’t been back to visit for 10 year’s. Service was a bit slower than I remember it being before when I ate here but it was Sunday and extremely busy. Food was prepared as ordered, and price for amount of food was very comparable. I had their special which was meatloaf, squash, fried okra and white beans with cornbread was my choices. I was stuffed and my friend had the same just a few different sides than me. We both had unsweetened tea. I highly recommend this place.

And when i asked if you had homemade desserts. That doesnrt include instant banana flavored pudding from a box. Yuck! Still in search of a good fish restaurant. Girl screwed up my pickip order and owner wouldnt make it right. 2 things wrong on 1 order. How do you not want to make it right. I got 1 really small fish when I ordered 2 and missing a side. The macaroni and cheese not edible. She offered me the price of the missing coleslaw. Really?? And your waitress telling you what happened before you got on the phone is a liar. Said that It was my fault blah blah. Take some accountability. I was never tild small or large plate. I ordered 2 whole fried fish. Maybe you dont have money because of this reason. Treat customers rigjt. ftwo mistakes on a new cuatimers 1 ordwr. and do the right thing when you screw up an order. I asked for 2 fish and coleslaw and didnt get what I ordered. So your solution was to give me a free coleslaw next time!!?? And no apology just went to the ticket to see what I paid for. What about my time and convenience. Also ..i paid over 20$ for a child’s plate. Onr tiny fish that I should have took a Pic of.

Took our senior adult church group we had 16 people. We got great service good, fresh, well seasoned food. There was a verity of food ordered and food was hot and fresh when it arrived to the table. Can’t say enough about this place. Will definitely be back and this was not our first visit. Thanks again to each staff member involved in our visit today

Fish was bland. I was so hopeful. Just not seasoned. Fried Green Tomatoes were AMAZING. Pancakes are huge. Syrup not so much on flavor. Great staff.

Wow! What an amazing experience! We are from Canada, we went to Tupelo to do the the Elvis Birthplace Tour and only came here to have some good Alabama grits (My Cousin Vinny is our favourite movie) and this was one of the closest options and I just have to say WOW!!!!! This restaurant is definitely going to be a core memory of our trip, everything was above our expectations.
We were able to try fried green tomatoes, chicken and waffles, and of course the grits! Everything was AMAZING, as I am writing this I am still stuffed!!!!
We told our waitress why we were here, and she told us that we would have to try chocolate gravy, none of us heard of this before but were intrigued, right as we were finishing our meals, she came over and brought up a biscuit and chocolate gravy for us to try ON THE HOUSE!!! And oh man, how amazing it was, I am going to crave it for the rest of my life!!
A BIG THANK YOU to all the staff there for making our visit so memorable and letting us experience the epitome of southern hospitality!!! WE WILL BE BACK!!!

One of my favorite sit-down restaurants in Hamilton. Friendly service and they always remember my drink order. My go-to is the Philly Cheesesteak and Tots. Can’t go wrong with that. It is always good! Check their Facebook page for daily specials.

I ordered the catfish sandwich and tots. My catfish was absolutely perfect. Some places tend to cook it too long and it gets a burnt flavor but the Farmhouse has cooked it to perfection every time and paired with their homemade tarter sauce just makes it even more delicious. As you can see from the picture, my fish was so much bigger than my hoagie style buns. It was a great meal, as always plus the restaurant was very clean, the service was quick and everyone was very friendly.

I can only give 5 stars instead of the 100 stars I want to give! The service and atmosphere start the meal off right with a warm welcoming. The cook is new, but the cook also knew the business end of a kitchen, because the food was amazing! My pictures don’t do the food justice, but the Buffalo Chicken Strips were the best I’ve ever tasted, so I ordered another helping to go! Our server (sorry I didn’t get her name) never walked by without asking if there’s anything we needed, and both servers made the whole dining room seem like home. If you’re in the area or traveling by Hamilton, Alabama, please stop by here for the whole experience.

I had the Sunday buffet, with chicken and dumplings. The dumplings were horrible in taste. The server was gracious and let me replace with the meatloaf. That was no better. Absolutely no flavor, and the meat tasted like very low quality meat. The vegetables were somewhat okay.
