I don’t say this lightly, but these are the best bagels I’ve ever tasted. They came out fresh from the oven, warm, soft inside with that perfect golden crust. Every bite reminded me why I love a good bagel. On top of that, the staff greeted me with a genuine smile and made the whole experience even better. If you’re anywhere nearby, do yourself a favour and stop in—you won’t regret it!

I came in and asked for my bagels to be lightly toasted and they were burnt i had just opened my bagels as soon as i left the store so not even 2 minutes after she handed them to me in my hand the cream cheese is literally melted like milk i asked for extra on top of the regular new jersey amount you are supposed to get & it looks like i did these at home and i had no cream cheese left the bagels were super crunchy. The service and food was way better before all the young girls got there and it was just the middle aged lady and the guys. I have lived in budd lake and got these bagels for more than 10 years and this is my first time having an issue with Budd Lake Bagels. Very disappointed

I happen to be going by the other day and stopped in as I heard they were buying a deli in the town I live The Bagel was good. The pork roll was slightly undercooked. The size of the sandwich was good. Coffee was also good. The service was good the only thing that stood out was the place looked a little dirty and unkept. Good place to stop at and eat but I would not travel any distance out of my way to go there

I ordered four sandwiches which took 30 minutes, and my french toast bagels were covered in everything bagel seeds. I would appreciate it if the workers could wipe down the counters a little bit so all my sandwiches aren’t covered in seeds?

I’ve been to this establishment more than once. And each and every time I’ve been there they’ve messed up something whether it be making my eggs and my tailor ham on my sandwich, not well done enough after saying it 6 or 7 times but today was the straw that brokes the camel’s back. They messed up everything. The bagels were too dense. They’re not fluffy at all. And then on top of that, again, eggs and meat are not well done. After stating it over and over again, I haven’t always had bad experiences here. But I won’t go back.Because this has been the fourth or fifth time.They did not make the food.I wanted the right way

I’ve been going here since I was a little kid, but even with my strong bias I am offended at the service I received today. I order 30 mins in advance and when I got there no order was ready, not even a wink of sorry was shown. Took 20 mins when I was already late to just ring up a side of egg salad. I understand it’s busy but please at least acknowledge when you mess up. I left the store hungry and unsure if I will ever return after 20+ years of business. I just hope the owner teaches there employees some basic manners.

Can never go wrong with a bagel from Budd Lake Bagel! The bagels are always super fresh and they’re so soft and fluffy. They really pack stuff into the bagel sandwiches and aren’t stingy with it like some places. The staff is super nice there as well. I love it all

The French toast bagels are fantastic! The generic bagels are great as well. But I highly recommend the French toast bagel, eaten fresh it is wonderful.
