Service was great! Food was an up and down relationship. The appetizers we got were; Spinach & Artichoke Dip (so FREAKING good!) and we also had shrimp in some kind of sauce (I don’t recall the name of it but it was delicious, it’s the picture with the lime in it.) We tried the Grilled Shrimp Asian Salad ( I wasn’t a fan but my sister LOVED it!) And I had the Garlic Shrimp Pasta (It was good, nothing shocking, needed SEASONING) we also had some drinks and those were AMAZING!

I had the opportunity to visit College Park Grill as a post graduation celebration gathering for family that was held at the local University. There was only one other obvious graduation celebration there, which suggests that this locale may be a hidden gem amongst the local crowd attending said graduation.
We received great service. I got the Shrimp Po’Boy sandwich and tried the appetizer Brussels, appetizer shrimp, and the crab dip. Everything was delicious. The Po’Boy had a very crispy but light bread with ample shrimp. All in my party were satisfied.
I tried the apple pie Ala mode and the brownie sundae, and they were top-quality desserts. I would only add that tue apple pie filling was more like a pumpkin pie, creamy filling in consistency. Many in my party were not happy with that culinary choice, which left the taste on a blander side. It’s not what you would expect if you are a lover of apple pies. I would recommend for he chef to utilize a more traditional approach to the pie filling that involves actual apple chunks and a sprinkle graham.

Our server Kaieem was so friendly and attentive. He made sure which food my little one could eat as she has food allergies. The Mashed potatoes are the bomb, my kids loved the ribeye and the Ceasar Salad was tasty. A bit in the expensive side but much better than Outback. Both the Crème Brûlée the Seasonal Tropical Sorbet were yummy.

Such a great experience twice in the same week! I was staying at a hotel close by and took advance of their great happy hour drinks 4-7pm. The entire staff is so friendly and the food has been fantastic both times i visited. I got the Ahi Tuna sandwich and the Crispy chicken sandwich, both times I opted for the fried Brussels in stead of chips which were fantastic. I like the soy style reduction sauce with the Brussels. Probably in my top three!

Their Georgia Shrimp & Grits (with hot honey shrimp, chicken sausage, signature creole sauce, tomatoes, peppers, onions, & creamy cheddar $24).
These are the BEST shrimp n grits I’ve ever had!! Plenty of sweet, savory, & crispy shrimp, a well seasoned GRIT CAKE, & a spicy red sauce that took this dish to the next level!!
Their Wood Fire BBQ Chicken Pizza (with grilled chicken, Gouda, mozzarella, red onion, cilantro, white sauce, & house bbq $22). LIKE THAT!! A pungent blend of cheeses, fresh chicken, & that wood fire taste!

Great ambiance, outstanding customer service! Can’t remember the name of the waitress, but she was amazing! We came as a group of about 10 people,for a business meeting, on a very tight schedule. She made sure that the food was served in no time, catered to us the whole time, knew her menu,and what to recommend.The guests were very happy with the food and we all cleaned our plates!

An old place feels more like a sports bar than a regular grill.
Mind you it did feel strange that the tables are rather high you feel like a child sat at a table.
I went with the bbq ribs coleslaw and fries was very enjoyable the ribs melted away from the bone all in all enjoyable and good.

Overpriced! That’s all you really need to know. Diner quality food and service trying to be upscale. The food and service was not bad, but it was not that good either (dirty wine glass, service was slow and the food was served warm not hot). If we were at a diner paying diner prices no problem, but a cheese burger was $15, French dip $17 both served with below average fries. Entrees were much more, cheapest appetizers were $8. There was no kids menu, but a very small basic plate of Mac & cheese was $8, apple juice another $5. At most places you could get both for $5.
Clearly they are trying to be a upscale grill, they have a nice (but expensive) wine list, and there are some elements of the atmosphere to match (like the bathroom & live jazz), but the booths are uncomfortable and the experience does not match the advertising. Family friendly, but clearly not designed with families in mind, I assume their main customers are people staying at the hotel above, but if you are a local I would not recommend it.

Our group heads out for Sunday brunch at College Park Grill out of curiosity. Located in a boutique hotel along Rte.1 in College Park (hence, the name), we find the place easily. There is ample parking space behind the hotel. It is almost one o’clock in the afternoon. Inside, CPGrill looks quite posh with its cozily lit interior built of dark wood and maroon leather. It is impressively quiet inside…no loud blaring music, not even “elevator” music, and conversations do not necessarily carry over the room. If it’s not wall material good for muted sounds, then it must be the kind of clientele CPGrill attracts. The crew is a youthful bunch, most likely students from the nearby university. They are very accommodating and they do serve with enough warmth and friendliness. The brunch is a long list in the menu which they serve two at a time (per person). They come in small plates with a good enough amount of serving for three to four mouthfuls each (or, five if one were to eat really daintily). The delicious food is served hot/warm. Each dish is really ordinary breakfast fare, but evidently prepared and elevated in their own special way that we truly relish the experience. Since it is an all-you-can-eat affair, we find out that four rounds (equivalent to eight little plates per person) are enough to last us through supper. We feel full…but definitely not “overly full.” And, no food is wasted. The price is reasonable. We absolutely plan on “repeats.” Highly recommended.

Crab Dip was very good. Dinners were good. Only complaint was with the steak frites. The steak was thin and anemic looking. On the plus side it was cooked to the right temp. Server was a little lacking. Never offered specials list and we didn’t know there were any until we heard another server mention it.
