We have been to this restaurant several times and everything we’ve had was delicious. The problem is the pricing. The last time we went they charged us a $3.00 fee to use our debit card. They only give you one small bowl of chips and salsa for a party of four. If you want more you’re charged for it. This time we were asked by the waiter if we wanted some pickled carrots with the chips and salsa so I said yes thinking it was like most other restaurants where they a complimentary, but they weren’t and cost $5 for a small bowl. This is unfortunate because I know we would probably eat there at least once a week or more if it wasn’t for these types of things and I bet we are not the only locals that feel this way.

Great authentic food. good service. Excellent selection. A lively place with lots of personality. I go there often but overeat due to the quality and the quantity of the food there. Highly recommended unless you’re on a diet. Good location in a quiet area near a gym.

We love going to Casa Reveles. The food is really good, the staff are nice and helpful and we have never had to wait! Could be because it is away from the busy city but the ride up the canyon is worth it. I have not had anything I don’t care for yet and I tried cactus here for the first time….really good!

Went to this restaurant for the first time, for lunch. The food was average, prices high for what you get especially for the kid’s meals. After paying/leaving, realized we were over charged. The kid’s meals were supposed to come with a drink; however, we were charged nearly $5 for each drink (for the children), and one of the kid’s meals was $2 more than what was on the menu, with no explanation as to why the upcharge. Service itself was good otherwise, but I won’t return. It is very unfortunate, because I love Mexican food and living in Valley Center this restaurant is convenient.

The food is Average at best. I’ve never in my 56 years on Earth seen a combo plate with portions so small. The Enchilada and Taco were mini sized, almost as if I ordered a kids meal. Food took way too long. The waiter brought chips once. Never came and gave us more despite the food not coming in a timely manor. Not Impressed..
