Great find yesterday for dinner. Food was great and the amazing value for money as if often the case with Asian food.
We ordered Chicken basil fried raise, veg fried rice, veg pad Thai and stirred fry Tofu. All items were great.
Spice level is low so you can ask for extra spicy sauce in the side.

Stopped in on an early weekend day before dinner time. We were the only diners, understandable since it was around 3pm. Being that we were the only diners, really cannot rate the service. The roti canai was a 1st for us, very tasty but unfortunately it was very oily. The General Tso’s chicken had one piece of broccoli to accompany the chicken, unheard of in our experience with this dish. Overall the dish was just average. The chicken sambal was delicious, however, was not spicy as advertised, especially after informing the server that I preferred it to be spicy. I would give this establishment another try, but would experiment with other dishes.

If I had to give this restaurant 0 stars I would. First of all I get it was Valentine’s Day when my family ordered take out. Don’t state you will have my order out in a half hour and then serve others who came in after me their take out orders. Also they cheat on the ingredients. The Walnut Chicken and Aloha Chicken had no chicken whatsoever I checked it. It was just fried breading. I got so sick in the middle of the night I don’t know what they did with the food. When I even asked when my order is coming out they kept saying soon 3x. UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE.. This used to be a good restaurant for $100 dollar take out for my family I can make this myself. Customers don’t want to hear you had a lot of take out orders or your dining room is full of people-this is Valentine’s Day you should expect this ! AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COSTS. UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE MONEY AND GET SICK ON THE FOOD.

I can’t express how much I love this place. I came in for soup once and now this is the only place I go to whenever I want any Chinese food. Truly is a great atmosphere and the owner is always there to greet me with a smile. She remembers your car and always make nice conversation even when she’s busy. If you are in the area and looking for a good Chinese spot I would recommend coming to this one.

I ordered takeout here twice. The first time I just got the beef chow fun because it’s one of my family’s favorite dishes. Wasn’t amazing the first time. Just average. Went again to give it a second chance. Maybe I just needed to order more items. Got beef chow fun, crab rangoon (a Chinese American staple), and cold sesame noodles. Very simple dishes, hard to mess up.

I was wrong to give this place a second chance. The crab rangoon had no crab. Not even imitation crab. I really do mean it was just fried cream cheese. I actually ate two because after the first one I had to try another one to make sure I wasn’t going crazy.

Cold sesame noodles had little sauce and the sauce had no peanuts. They could’ve done better with the sauce in terms of quantity. I did not specify that I was peanut allergic so that leads me to believe they don’t use peanut butter in this recipe. That’s fine, can’t be disappointed if they didn’t have it in fine print. But definitely weird for a Chinese-American restaurant.

The beef chow fun was the same as before. Nothing different, still average at best.

-3 stars since I ordered 3 items and they all didn’t quite hit the mark. I’ll give 2/5 because
1. Service. while I’ve never dined in, the takeout service is fast
2. At least they are consistent in their quality and taste. I went twice, once at the beginning and once at the end of the year and both times I can say the food was consistently average. Have to give credit where it’s due.

Been going here for years, and ate in last night and realized this restaurant should definitely be full on weekend nights. The food has been consistently good for 4+ years. Recommend: string beans w garlic sauce, honey walnut shrimp, kung pao chicken, any fried rice

The food was very good. I enjoyed the fried dumplings, the General Tso was very good but wasn’t spicy at all. The Boneless Spare Ribs were very good. The tea was served in a coffee mug and was below room temperature. I added ice from my water glass and enjoyed it regardless (It was a hot day). I recommend their food but they need to remove the floor fan from the dining area, if their air conditioning doesn’t work, get it fixed. The fan is loud and makes the place look less than elegant. I will eat here again.

My first time dining here did not disappoint.
The restaurant is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The atmosphere is serene and very pleasant to dine in.
The service is fast and friendly. The Kung Pao chicken was delicious and the General Tso’s Chicken was just as good. The fried rice was fresh and none of the food was greasy. They offer, chicken, pork, beef and seafood dishes, as stand alone or combination dishes. Prices are very reasonable.

Best restaurant in the area for Asian fusion. I always get the Indonesian rice when I stop by. Eaten here a hundred times and the quality of the food is consistent. Staff is always friendly and the restaurant is kept organized and clean.

First time at this place. Met a friend for lunch. Very clean and associates are polite and smiling. Food was yummy. You mush try the Roti & curry for appetizers its different and so good. I had kao pao chicken with veggie fried rice. Perfectportion for lunch with a miso soup. I enjoyed sitting and eating there. My friend has gone couple of times and she insisted me to come. Good i went. Next day got fried chicken wings and veggie fried rice for my son and he loved it too. He is a very picky eater. He found a asian food home for him in east brunswick as i had to go to brooklyn to get him asian food as we moved her more then a yr ago. Follow my videos on youtube. Sumalena’s kitchen
