My family comes here regularly because it’s only 5 minutes away. I recommend going inside to order; it’s quite the experience! My brother and I choose our entrees based on what looks the best. In last night’s case this was the general tso’s, teriyaki, and pork. Their noodles are also very good. Don’t forget the almond cookies! They tend to run out of popular items and they’re almost alway busy when we go, so I recommend getting there early. The only thing I don’t particularly like is the crab rangoons, but I’m picky about those.

We went to Mar’s Chinese on a Friday night around 7 pm. No waiting. Ordered the hot and sour soup, which was done very well with the right amount of sour to flavor. The portion size was a lot bigger coming out in a small bowl. We also ordered the pot stickers, which were excellent. I think they are made on site and are some of the best I have had. Our main dish was the Kung pow shrimp, which we ordered mild. Flavors were good, and it tasted very fresh. Service was quick and friendly, and this was for $40 + tip.

Im so sad that I can’t give them a good review. We have ordered take out three times, and every time they get something wrong. I ordered C20 Hot and Spicy chicken. When I opened it up, I thought I had the wrong order. It looked like noodles…it was seriously an entire onion! A little chicken. So I drove over there to have a conversation with them. They wanted to argue…I didn’t. I asked for my money back. Just so sad…

I’m quite pleasantly surprised by Mar’s Chinese Cuisine. A lot of the Chinese places around town can get pretty expensive, and some others have way smaller serving sizes. And if somehow they remain affordable and with large serving sizes, the places can be sketchy. However, Mar’s is pretty clean. They don’t have the most to offer out of every Chinese restaurant out there, but what they have is pretty tasty. They make good soups, and they have some good salt and pepper meat selections (would highly recommend either the calamari or the pork).

This is the second time we either didn’t get the right order or it was cold food. We called after getting home and they said it wasn’t there problem. Why do to go orders if there are making wrong food or giving you cold old dried out food. They used to be great but I will never eat there again. The woman was incredibly rude. I should have known when the place was empty

We ordered 4 combos – 2 pork fried rice, pork chop mein, and fried shrimp, 1 rice, chow mein, and egg roll and 1 rice, fried shrimp, and sweet and sour chicken for 4 of us. All of us got at least two full meals out of our combos, it’s a lot of food. Good amount of pork in the rice and chow mean, but the chow mein was more cabbage than noodles. My big problem though, is the egg rolls. What is all this black stuff inside?! It’s extremely off putting and I couldn’t eat them.

Good food And consistent quality. Very generic Chinese food. I ordered the mushroom delight and Szechuan beef. Everything tasted great but as I said it’s very generic and nothing special. Staff was not very friendly but some people like to be ignored…

The ambiance and decor here makes for such a nice place to gather and come in from the weather! Unfortunately the good is HORRIFIC at “best”. .. Was hoping to find a good place for Chinese food on the East end of town closer to home so we stopped in. Our order was simple.. crab puffs and chicken egg foo yung. Puffs came out (small but) hot and fresh so I was excited _ until I dropped one in my mouth.. I’m not new to CP every restaurant has their own recipe but I do not enjoy eating food that’s been in the refrigerator waaaay to looong and tastes like it’s on the down side because OLD cream cheese flavour is MEH! As for the chicken egg foo yung EXTREMELY disappointed there as well.. my S.O. pointed out to me that their’s obviously didn’t have onions, celery or bean sprouts but I thought they looked really good (and were HUGE_ considering every place out there is still PANDEM’ING_ cutting quality quantity and RAISING prices on everything tsk! tsk! tsk! people)so I was ready to dig in .. but was greeted with something quite BLAND and FLAVORLESS OUCH! STAY AWAY from the chicken egg foo yung as there WASN’T any chicken in it whatsoever.. I spent my time trying to figure out WHAT mystery ingredient they substituted the chicken for.. uhmm I’ll get back to you on that after I do my homework .. I’m maddd faces on the food here.. but the people are really nice attentive and friendly and this is a really clean place and the welcome in is warm and friendly..
My S.O. thinks we should come back and try something else next time..(?) Idk I might just stick to the House of Beijing and make the run out there to Hazel Dell it’s been our Go2 for the last 10+yrs .. but in all fairness he has a point there.. hoping our next visit doesn’t disappoint maybe we’ll come try one of their dinner specials.

I order Bbq pork and an eggroll. The inside of the eggroll only had cabbage in it and little black chunks! It looks like they were burnt up stuff off the grill! The Bbq pork was the same way and the meat was also questionable looking.
