Amazing food and drinks! Fried chicken dinner was seriously so good and a lot of food for the price! Our waiter John was great and the owner is such a kind person!

Bushell’s is an absolute must-visit! After hearing countless rave reviews about the incredible atmosphere, friendly staff, and outstanding food, I finally decided to give it a try—and I’m so glad I did! It’s officially my new go-to spot in Traverse City.

The cocktails are exceptional—some of the best I’ve had in the area. Not only are they expertly crafted, but they’re also reasonably priced, making them an absolute steal for the quality.

The food? Simply out of this world. The portions were generous, the flavors were unforgettable, and the prices were incredibly fair. What’s even better is knowing that everything is locally sourced, which adds a whole new level of appreciation to the experience.

If you’re looking for a dining experience that will exceed your expectations, I can’t recommend Bushell’s enough!

Our first experience here was not what we had hoped for. We had heard amazing things about their chicken sandwich, but when we arrived, we discovered it was only available on their late-night menu, which starts at 8 PM. Additionally, they do not accommodate allergies of any kind.

We ended up ordering the Beef Ragu and the Trout Tartine. Both dishes were good, but they weren’t worth the price we paid for dinner.

In the end, we decided to grab pizza afterward.

All around excellent spot for dinner and drinks. Very attentive and professional staff. We were seated quickly, then greeted and attended to by our server shortly after. The food was thoughtfully plated and absolutely delicious! We went for the brown butter miso cornbread and bkc salad to start. The rabbit and chicken dishes for the main. All delicious. The rabbit was the standout in my mind. The beautifully rich flavored stew garnished with fresh herbs made for a tasty and well rounded dish.

Tried this place out tonight! Overall we were not super impressed! We are huge foodies and the food was just not there. Service was not the best either. Loved the atmosphere and margarita! Tried the corn bread, fried chicken sandwich and the white fish! The white fish was good! Portion sizes were very small for the price point! It was a one and done! We also felt very rushed from the beginning to the end. Glad we tried it out! But it will not be one of our favorite restaurants in TC!

A bit unorganized, though will give them a bit of grace as it was first day of TCRW, but felt like they might have underplanned. Reservation was for 615, didn’t get sat until 645.

Food was pretty good but not sure portion size would be worth it at regular prices. Except for my very liquid and sour panna cotta.

Good drinks, nice mocktail options as well.

Might need to try one more time not during RW.

Absolutely stunning atmosphere. The Back Porch drink was a bit too strong and not enough peach taste. The summer sqauash was $8 for a few slices. It took very long to get service. One server and one bartender. I ended up leaving due to slow service and minimal menu options.

Every single thing about this place is amazing. The food… the service… . Our servers were Savannah and Andre were absolutely amazing.

I personally got “How you bean” = excellent espresso martini. Our friends got the lavender dust. So cool!! A must try in traverse city!

We were looking forward to trying this restaurant and man we’re we disappointed. Lettuce wraps were tiny (there were exactly 2 tiny pieces of lettuce!) and they used a brown n serve sausage link for the filling!
The field vegetables were so salty they weren’t edible until we dumped them over the beef dish that was tasteless. So sad about it. Wanted to love it….but man it was so bad.

Drinks and service were good. Wish we would have taken photos!
