Amazing. Very surprised that this was as good as it was. Hubby got the veal piccata calamari and he loved his meatballs. And they had roasted garlic. Don’t think I’ve been to an Italian restaurant that had roasted garlic. And our waitress Dream was a dream.

He was incredibly polite, friendly, and attentive, truly taking pride in his work, and it showed in every interaction. My friend ordered a potato soup as his appetizer. He shared some with my mom and I. As I was eating my last scoop, I felt something hard in my mouth, I took it out and it was part of the glass bowl, apparently the side of the bowl was chipped and the shards were in the soup! I let the server know who told his mgr about it. They came to make sure I hadn’t digested any of it and I don’t think I did but for the rest of the main course, I had a lot of anxiety finishing the meal as I kept wondering if I would find more glass in my food. They did offer their apologies but that was all I got. They should have given my meal free at minimum….that’s what I would have done if I owned the restaurant and one of my patrons almost swallowed a shard of glass…anyways I suppose the only recourse is to leave this review.

Food & service were excellent! For a casino-side restaurant, even the atmosphere was nice. Table a bit jam-packed together, but again, it’s a casino restaurant. Excellent wine selection. I don’t recommend the Manhattan cocktail, however.

First time back after a year away. Thought things would be better but it was worst. Three out of four meals were terrible. Chicken was so tough you needed a sharp knife. The roasted Chicken salad was also tough. The spaghetti and meatballs had a strange flavor.
The bread had a super hard crust and the bread was not cooked enough. No more free olives and you have to ask for roasted garlic. You have lost your niche. Whoever is making the changes and adding items to great in the past recipes and adding distasteful spices to the recipes needs to stop. Where is the sausage and peppers?
Carson needs more and better night dinning please go back to when you first opened. Have a new brand opening so we know you are listening. We use to eat there every two weeks. Very sad to see only one waiter from the good old days. Our regular waitress is gone now!

The best italian restaurant in Carson City. Traditional pasta, veal and seafood youd expect in San Francisco. Excellent selections on their menu. Make sure you try to get Mike as your server. Experienced and highly professional.
