The atmosphere is a bit loud. Due to the layout. So don’t go expecting a quiet dinner. Not at all a huge deal. But felt it’s worth mentioning in case you wanted a one on one quiet, romantic dinner. Go for the food! Worth it.

Our server, Luigi was exceptional. Very knowledgeable about the menu. We took his recommendations and the food was amazing. We ordered beef carpaccio for appetizer, it was delicious. For entree, we ordered a filet mignon, a Ribeye with black garlic bourbon butter, and a side of black garlic mashed potatoes. Amazing flavor and cooked to perfection. For dessert we ordered the Creme Brulee, very tasty. I will definitely come back. Thanks to Luigi for the service and the experience.

Remington’s delivered a wonderful dining experience. Our server, Josh, provided excellent service attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu. The food was well-prepared: while the lamb chops leaned a bit on the fatty side, they were still flavorful. The pork chop, however, was outstanding—truly one of the best entrées I’ve had dining out in quite some time. Dessert was a highlight, with the warm butter cake being absolutely decadent and memorable along with the açaí sorbet. Overall, a fantastic evening and a restaurant I would happily return to. My husband and I recently visited this restaurant, and from the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we weren’t sure if we belonged. Everyone we saw was dressed so elegantly, and there we were in sweats. For a moment, we considered turning around—but we decided to be brave and go in. I’m so glad we did.

I almost whispered to my husband, “Let’s leave this for rich people,” but before I could, the host greeted us with a warm smile and asked if we had reservations. We didn’t, and they graciously offered us a choice between a table or the bar. We chose the bar, and from that moment on, the experience was nothing short of perfect.
The bartender was attentive and welcoming, the service was flawless, and the food—absolutely unforgettable. We ordered the lamb with garlic mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts, and they somehow made Brussels sprouts taste like a melody. While the prices leaned toward the higher side, every bite was worth it.
I only wish I could have tipped the entire team—the host, the cook, the bartender—but we left $30 for the bartender and hope our appreciation reached them all. At no point did we feel out of place, which speaks volumes about the warmth and professionalism of the staff.
We left with full hearts and full stomachs. This will forever be one of my favorite dining memories.

This was our first time to Remingtons to celebrate my birthday. There were 4 of us, 2 couples and we just wanted a good steak dinner. Josh was our waiter and he was absolutely amazing. He gave us recommendations based on comments from his previous customers. He was spot on with everything! He was also very attentive and even adjusted my drink because I didn’t really like it originally. The food was amazing as was the ambiance but I don’t think we would have had such a successful dinner without Josh helping us a long the way. We are grateful for him and the wonderful birthday dinner we had.

Had an amazing experience here! The food was top and the atmosphere was classy but still welcoming. Stephen was the one that checked on us and he knew the menu inside out. We had a couple allergies in our group and he handled it like a pro. He made everyone feel comfortable and kept everything smooth the whole time. Super professional and good vibes. The staff honestly just made the night more fun. Definitely coming back!

I brought in a party of seven—which is never the easiest table—and from start to finish, the experience was seamless. The food was excellent, the atmosphere was welcoming, and everything came out timely and well-executed. But the real standout of the evening was our server, Josh.
Josh was extraordinarily phenomenal. Attentive without hovering, personable without being overbearing, and somehow managed to keep seven people happy, fed, and entertained like it was second nature. Drinks were always refilled, requests were handled effortlessly, and the entire table felt genuinely taken care of.
Service like that elevates a good restaurant into a great one—and Remmington’s nailed it. We’ll absolutely be back, and if you’re lucky enough to get Josh, you’re already winning.

We celebrated my son’s graduation from UF at Remington’s and had the most incredible time! We truly couldn’t have asked for a better place. We are 100% certain that we would not have had such an experience in any restaurant in Gainesville!

Amazing experience from start to finish. Josh was an outstanding server knowledgeable, attentive, and made the night even better with his recommendations. I had the wagyu steak and the escargot lobster appetizer, and both were absolutely phenomenal. Josh guided me to the perfect choices and made sure everything was timed and cooked perfectly.
