Great grill.
The food was delicious. The service was exceptional. We were attended to quickly. We had a large party and were accommodated in comfortable seating. We received our food very quickly.
Everything tasted delicious. Our favorites were the loaded fries and the Philly cheese steak sandwich.
Great atmosphere! Great service! Great food!
So glad that we checked it out!

We had a great experience. The Philly Cheese Steak was great. The onion rings were fantastic. The Boerne Burger and Blacksmith Burger were hits too. Good location. A little pricy. Friendly staff. Wax super busy so service was a little slow. The fries were basic. Recommend.

Oh My Goodness! This restaurant is a MUST if you are in the area. Hands down the best food I have had in a long time. Hawaiian Burger, Pat’s Famous Philly-Style Cheesesteak with a bonus Chocolate Nutella and Salted Caramel with Pretzel Shakes

This was my first visit and I had heard good things, but when it came to problem solving, management severely lacked. My daughter order tenders and they were too crispy and done for her fresh-out-of-braces teeth. She took 2 bites. I brought it to the manager and asked for a plain kids burger ($3 less than her entree). I was told I would have to pay for another plate because she ate the chicken. No resolution. I dropped $100 at this place and you can’t give me a kids burger for my kid? Not okay. I will never recommend or come back.

I went here with my uncle this past weekend and it took about 45 minutes to get our food. I understand there was the market days happening across the street so they must’ve been busier than usual, but almost an hour to wait for food was ridiculous. Even our appetizer came late (fried pickles). The batter on the fried pickles was thin and soft so it fell off just picking them up. Paying almost $10 for pickles is too much for them to not be be great. The burgers were subpar and basic in my opinion. The buns were cold and bigger than the patty itself. The servers were sweet though and checked in with us frequently so I don’t blame them. With all this said, I won’t be coming back because I believe it is overpriced for what you get. I won’t hold the wait I had too much against them since I did go at a busy time but it still seemed unnecessarily long.

What a fun spot!! We’ve been by here several times, but it’s always been so busy that we’ve never stopped. We finally stopped by…& now understand why it’s always so busy! The food is absolutely DELICIOUS, the drinks are very cold, the people are incredibly friendly, and the atmosphere is unbelievably chill. We agreed to never skip this place again when we’re in the area! Try their loaded fries. They’re TO DIE for!♥️

Tried out Blacksmith Grill tonight for the first time. I believe they are now out of their soft opening, so I hope this review doesn’t seem harsh.
My son and I had a pleasant experience, but I am taking two stars off this review for the following reasons.
First, the food is expensive for what you get. In my opinion, very expensive. The bill for my 10 year old son and I was $37 before tip. He had the bottomless Icee which was $5 (!) and I had a frozen margarita. He had a Blacksmith Burger which he enjoyed and was worth the $9 price tag. I had the Chopped Beef Brisket Sammie which was $11 and was very disappointed with the portion of brisket on the “sammie”. It was almost all bread. Picture attached. I would expect twice as much meat on an $11 sandwich, especially considering the chopped brisket is usually leftover from the prime parts of the cut. I was super jealous of my son’s $9 burger.
Second, I was confused my the ordering process. We ordered at the counter on the way in, and then our waitress came to our table a few minutes later to “confirm” our order before sending it to the kitchen. Maybe I missed something or am just confused, but this seemed like an extra unneeded obstacle to getting our expensive dinner.
I’m not sure I’ll eat here again. There were other menu items I was interested in, but Boerne has a ton of other options that I feel are more likely to give me my money’s worth.
On the positive side, the atmosphere was nice and the staff was friendly. It was not very busy on a Tuesday night and the food was made in reasonable time. I’m glad to have this location back in business and hope to find that improvements to the portions have been made in the future.

Blacksmith grill is amazing! I had the pulled pork sandwich on a gluten free bun with fries- everything was great, especially the fry seasoning! They are able to accommodate for celiac with a gluten free bun and have a dedicated fryer for their fries. They have a fun menu with Philadelphia-style options that brings some variety into the traditional burger place in Texas. Wonderful atmosphere and kind staff!
