Me and my husband were pleasantly surprised with the presentation of this place. Clean tables, fresh flowers and very kind staff. We got home made pate with bread and it was delicious, then potato pancakes which were amazing and main dishes were svickova and moravian pork with sauerkraut and potato dumplings. All of the food was authentic and super delicious same like home, we are definitely coming back!!! See you soon Cafe Prague!

Great food and nice staff. Super tolerant of big group of Americans in the bar area. Typical Slavic birthday party was ongoing with the expected songs and kids on the dance floor. Would be a nice place for an event. Goulash and Svickova were delicious. My friend ordered a schnitzel with no sauce and said it was dry, but that sounds like his fault. I look forward to coming back!

It is very difficult to find game meat on the menu at Chicago restaurants. We stopped here after viewing their menu which had rabbit, deer and duck. I ordered the rabbit which was divine. Super tender. My husband ordered the deer. He loved his dish, I find deer meat too lean for my taste.
Service was great beer and wine selections were delicious. Some great beers on tap. We had apple strudel for dessert with beet salad and duck dumplings for appetizers.

Another incredible event hosted by Cafe Prague! I cannot say enough about how organized, friendly, and helpful they are during the planning process. The event itself was beautiful, with amazing service and food that everyone raved about. They also accommodated multiple dietary requests easily, including vegan gluten free and nut free. Super impressed and will be back again!

Delicious home cooked Czech meals in a nice atmosphere and with friendly, professional staff (Olena); they also offer non Czech options. The portion sizes were huge! I would only warn that the Moravian pork was a bit on the salty side, for those that are limiting their salt intake, but it tasted just like my mom’s, who’s an excellent cook!
