The food is ALWAYS good, comes out almost immediately after ordering as well! The customer service is exceptional and always a friendly environment. The portion sizes are great for the price and I have never been disappointed with the food! 5 STARS NO DISCUSSION!!!

Good customer service. Food was served quickly and hot. The shrimp tempura appetizer was good. Served with a tasty soy sauce based dipping sauce. The miso soup did not have miso in it; just a chicken broth with mushrooms and it was served in a styrofoam cup! The side salad was served in a styrofoam to go box. The salad dressing was flavorful. The volcano roll was excellent. More wasabi would have helped. Fresh ginger. The hibachi shrimp and chicken was a large portion! It was delicious but…it came with a long black hair They quickly took it away and brought out an entirely new order. Utensils are flimsy plastic forks and spoons. No alcohol served.

Disappointed that our favorite place to get sushi is no longer our favorite. I know it’s under new ownership, but I was hoping it wouldn’t change too much. My delicious onion soup changed drastically. You used to get a decent size bowl and now it comes in the smallest size of the clear to go containers. For science I poured it into a measuring cup and I paid $3 for legitimately 1/2 cup of soup that literally just tasted like beef bouillon with French fried onions in it. It no longer tastes anything like the traditional onion soup. The vegetables tasted better than before, but I’m assuming because they looked like they were actually cooked in the sauce instead of the sauce just drizzled over them. I can’t pinpoint what was different about the spicy snow crab roll, but it just didn’t hit tonight either. Everything else was okay, but I was highly disappointed in my soup being more than halved in size AND not tasting the same. It’s been a go to of mine when I know my stomach won’t allow me to eat anything substantial.

New owners. Everything I usually order has completely changed. The tea taste different and the to cup it usually comes in has become smaller. The sushi is cold and smaller. The stir fried udon now has a different sauce and different vegetables and the steak I had in it was so well done it was basically like chewing on a rock. This is ridiculous. Never eating here again, thanks for ruining my favorite restaurant.

New menu has a great variety of options with fair pricing and quick, friendly service. Superman roll was great. Want to try the Ole Miss roll next.

Drive thru window is a big plus too.

Food was pretty good with no huge dips in quality, appropriate portions for the amount paid. Waitress was nice, although she seemed to have a limited knowledge of English(not enough to make ordering difficult, but at least enough to be noticeable) Seems like it was designed more for take out or drive through than dine in, as the food was served in to-go boxes. Overall, the atmosphere seemed not welcoming, but not unwelcoming either. Hibachi and sushi were mid, rangoons were excellent, and it seemed like they made their own yum yum sauce. Solid 4/5

Haven’t been here in forever so decided that my husband and I should go. Last time I came here, it was a few years back and I ate with my uncle. The vibe has not changed! I absolutely love their inside decor and everything is very clean within this establishment. The food is amazing and is served very quickly! I’ve seen some people not enjoy how the food is served in takeout plates or cups, but I lowkey enjoy this! It makes it easy to pack up your leftovers after dining in. I also loved just getting to sip my soup out of a little to-go cup (helpful since I’m always accidentally spilling something). The waiters and waitresses do speak limited English, but it is not much of an issue when you order! They can quickly pick up on what you’re trying to say or order most times.

I popped in for a late lunch with my daughter and we were starving. The place was expectedly quiet for our 3pm arrival, but we were seated quickly by our waitress and attended to swiftly. I ordered the 2 roll sushi lunch that came with soup and salad and an egg roll appetizer for the kiddo. Everything was served in to-go boxes, with the soup in a cup, salad in a styrofoam container, and very flimsy plastic utensils in a bag. The ginger dressing on the simple iceberg and carrots shaving salad was good. The soup wasn’t very flavorful, but was hot and had plenty of mushrooms floaters…needed salt. I got the Pacific roll and Philadelphia roll, but neither were great. I didn’t finish either because the Pacific didn’t taste like much and the Philadelphia had very, very tough salmon. It won’t be my go-to sushi place, but I did talk to another patron with a heaping styrofoam to-go box of hibachi chicken w/ noodles that said it was good, just wasn’t as flavorful as she hoped. She added soy sauce and yum yum that was available on the table. The egg rolls tasted like they were frozen and from a bag, so definitely not something we will get again. Hopeful for a better experience next time, but would order something different.

I picked up orders for doordash here for a while now. I finally ordered for myself tonight. So so good! Best sushi around Tupelo that I’ve tried so far. Love it!
