As I sat in the nearby Steak ‘n Shake eating lunch, I couldn’t help but notice Pana Donuts out the window, encouraging me to stop in for dessert. I am not hard to persuade in such matters.
Pana is a locally owned and managed donut shop which is a plus for me when compared to the national chains. The donuts were good and filling, holding down a middle ground between Dunkin’ Donuts (average) and Long’s Bakery (superlative) in my estimation.
The service was on par with the best, very friendly, courteous, fast and energetic. Pana Donuts came off looking all the better when compared to neighbouring Dunkin’ which has a deserved reputation for poor service at that location.
One drawback was the dining area. While there were tables and chairs, there was no ambience. The vibe was definitely carryout oriented.

You might consider a carryout coffee from Steak ‘n Shake in combination with some Pana Donuts. To take it to the ultimate level, drop by nearby Paul Ruster park and make it a true “tea time” picnic.

This was my first time eating here. My daughter wanted a boba drink and the doughnuts were freaking delicious !!! I had a sugar with coconut. It was so good & doughy & a cinnamon roll, and they were still fresh the next day, unlike other places where the doughnuts are dry and old the next morning. And there’s one right by my house, which I’m going to go to all the time, instead of Dunkin’ Donuts.

I went to the Walmart down the street and saw Pana Donuts as I was leaving and thought I would stop bye, A girl working at the front took my order and was the sweetest person ever, great attitude and so kind. I couldn’t decide on what to get and she recommended me a few options and they were delicious. I will definitely be coming back. Thank you Vicky!

I got a bagel breakfast sandwich-it was fresh and delicious. Probably the best breakfast sandwich I’ve ever had! My hot Chai tea was great, too. The woman at the counter was very friendly. The atmosphere was warm and pleasant. I will be coming back!

The place is super clean and inviting. Service was great. There was a small issue with my order and the communication between the store and doordash pick up. The employee had a positive attitude and we got it all figured out. Donuts are fresh and delicious and the vanilla iced coffee is just what I needed to continue my morning. 10/10

Staff not very friendly. No coffee ready in the morning. Opted for milk instead, took one drink and it was spoiled. 2 days past expiration. Won’t be back. Tried to call just to let the know about the milk. Didn’t pick up.

Place just opened last week or so. Bought half dozen donuts plus one free grand opening donut. Yeast are slightly firm compared to a competitor literally on the same street a few miles away but the oil here is better than the competitor. So better than gricery donut but not quite top notch gourmet melt in your mouth super soft donut. Lemon donut the filling was not centered so ate 2/3 donut before finding the jelly. Does tha mean insufficient jjelly or poor workmanship? Bought cinnamon roll, cake, and croissant but uneaten as of this post. There is no drive thru, and very few tables in the store. Well above average donuts but so far not the best ever.
