Came in to get a cheese omelet platter. It was made fresh with american cheese and came with grilled potatoes. Usually potatoes that are grilled for breakfast have a mixture of both onions and potatoes. Was like no onions and if any onions were in it they were cut very thin and was minimal and any breakfast meat normally come with a platter anywhere else and not charged extra
My valued opinion, put more onions in with the potatoes and have sliced wider if youre mixing the onions in with the breakfast potatoes to give it flavor or dont put them in it at all

The bagels are good but some time ago they changed the recipe and the bagels are now lighter and fluffier than some years back. We prefer more NY traditional style bagels which are a bit heavier. Wish they would go back, but we still go here on many occasions. The next closest place with more traditional NY bagels is in Randolph and that is too long of a ride for a bagel.
They are busy but the line moves fast. If you happen to get the old guy working there double check everything and make sure he communicates your order correctly if someone else is going to prepare it. I’ve witnessed one too many issues with him, the girls are all great.

Stopped in for bagels on our way through NJ. They did not disappoint. The owner was there and had us try his new creation: a french toast bagel. Both the bagels we ordered along with his novel creation were outstanding, huge, made-in-house bagels that can be complimented with a wide selection of specialty cream cheeses if you so please. We will continue to stop by every time we come through 287 as we have for the past 5 years!

Very good bagel and deli shop. They offer a great variety of bagels and sandwiches. I have tried several of them and they are all great. The produce here are fresh and they always taste good. The people are very friendly. There is always a lot a seating room if you want to eat inside.

My partner and I wanted to try out this bagel spot since we’ve tried many others in Boonton. We ordered two Taylor ham, egg, cheeses, and potatoes with salt and pepper. I paid $16. When we received our bagels, we found ketchup on them and brought it to the staff’s attention in hopes they would rectify the situation. The staff bickered with me saying I should’ve specifically said “no ketchup” (meanwhile all other bagel shops are competent and understand “salt and pepper” means just salt and pepper).
Unfortunately, customer service and quality does not exist here. We received our same bagels sandwiches with the ketchup wiped off and they only switched the bread. The egg was cold, cheese not melted, no salt or pepper was added. Ultimately, I can understand mistakes happen, however it was their way of responding that soured the situation. I will not be returning.

Was traveling and stopped here due to not wanting fast food or a chain. Food was super fresh. The food came out really fast as well. The owner was great to talk with and gave us some bagels for our ride home. Would highly recommend.

Omg these bagels are amazing and I had my fair share at other bagel shops and will only go here from now on. They are made fresh every morning so get there early if you want one straight out of the oven! The bagels are so round, crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The spreads are so good too! I made the mistake of not getting a container to take home with me and the Philadelphia Cream Cheese Veggie brand is no where in comparison to this shops veggie spread!
Helpful hint: order a bagel and deli sandwich to eat right away and grab a dozen or so bagels and spreads to take home. These freeze really well! Slice in half and throw in the freezer. Throw in the toaster oven frozen and it taste just as fresh as when you originally bought it! I’m having a bagel that was frozen right now. Have to get back to the store since I’m running low in my bagel stash

Best bagel shop in NJ. I’ve been eating. Bagels from the owner since he owned Fairfield Bagels. His bagels and himself are a staple of my childhood. I come here every time I come back to NJ. This place and the owner are a gem!!
