First time visiting and it was a really pleasant experience! I had never tried chaap before, and I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was. The texture reminded me a bit of chicken sausage, but with its own unique flavor. It’s definitely filling and packed with protein.

We ordered the Tawa Chaap and the Amritsari Chaap – both were flavorful and distinct in their own way. The gravies were rich, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.

Great spot for both vegetarians and non-vegetarians who want to try something meatless but still crave that hearty, satisfying taste. Would definitely come back!

Went to satisfy my cravings and it didn’t disappoint us at all. Restaurant is neat. We ordered Amritsari chaap, kurkure momos and steamed momos. Cashier was so helpful, she guided us what is good and her recommendation of trying chai was the best. After all this evening tea was the best. Definitely will be back.

This was our first visit to this exceptional place, and it truly exceeded expectations! I’ve been in NJ for 3 years, and this place beats them all hands down. We tried the Malai Chaap, Butter Masala Chaap, Garlic Naan, Butterscotch Shake, and Bhalla Papdi — every single dish was a perfect 10/10.

The owner was incredibly polite and took the time to make thoughtful recommendations (even suggesting we not overorder — which we appreciated!). It was my son’s birthday, and this visit made the day extra special. We’ll definitely be coming back again soon!

The chaap here is incredible. Everything tastes fresh, the staff was sweet, the portions are generous, and the chutney ties it all together perfectly. Definitely a must‑try for chaap lovers.

We got the tandoori momos and fries and it was delicious! The momos were so authentic and spicy- the green chutney paired so well with the momos. We also got the chiku shake and the sweet lassi, both of which were great! I’d definitely come back here to try to chaap!

We tried the Amritsari Chaap, Tandoori Momos, and Paneer Roll. Unfortunately, none of the dishes met our expectations — the flavors felt a bit overwhelming with sauces and didn’t stand out as we had hoped, especially compared to the high ratings and reviews we saw on Google. That said, the service was fast, and the prices are reasonable. Overall, it was okay for a one-time try.

Punjabi Chaap truly stands out for its exceptional flavors and incredibly friendly staff. As a lover of Indian cuisine, I was thoroughly impressed by the variety and authentic taste of their chaap dishes. Each bite was a burst of well-balanced spices and perfectly cooked, making it a delightful experience for both vegetarians and those curious to try something new. The Malai Chaap, in particular, was a highlight – tender, smoky, and packed with flavor.
Beyond the delicious food, the staff at Punjabi Chaap deserve a special mention. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warm smiles and genuine hospitality. The service was prompt, and the team was more than happy to offer recommendations and answer any questions about the menu.
While the culinary experience was largely fantastic, there is one area where Punjabi Chaap could significantly improve: hygiene. During my visit, I noticed a few minor lapses in cleanliness, particularly in the dining area. Things like wiped-down tables needing a more thorough clean, With such delicious food and a wonderful staff, addressing these small hygiene points would undoubtedly make Punjabi Chaap an even more exceptional dining destination.
Despite this minor critique, I highly recommend Punjabi Chaap for anyone craving authentic and flavorful Indian chaap.

As soon as you enter this place, you are hit with aroma of flavors, it certainly gets you hungry.

They serve really yummy soya based food, impressive spread on the menu.

The place is new, swanky and well set.

Tried wrap, starter and main course curry, I must say I am impressed that we tried this place.

Must try are the Amritsar chap and garlic naan. Not to forget mango shake, it’s really good.

Staff is polite and helpful, they actually explain the menu and help you order.

Nice alternative to high protein food on top of it it’s vegetarian.

Will be coming back to review again.

Absolutely loved this all-vegetarian spot! The chaaps are packed with flavor, and the kurkure momos are perfectly crispy and delicious. The Rogan Josh was incredibly well-prepared, and the roomali roti is hands down the best I’ve had—soft, thin, and just right. Highly recommend if you’re craving authentic Indian street food flavors!
