I hopped in here for a Saturday morning breakfast and it wasn’t too bad. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and it came with a homemade biscuit that was quite good. The rest of the breakfast was good but not great. The cafe is a nice clan establishment with a very friendly staff. I want to go back for lunch and maybe a dessert cause the desserts look fabulous!! Service was fast and friendly but they did not ask if I wanted a refill for my drink until they brought my check. All in all not bad. I’ll go back again.

We went there yesterday for the first time after moving to the neighborhood, unfortunately we won’t be back. The service was good, the servers were nice, but the food left me feeling ill. It was not good. The defrosted frozen berries were so gross, those are meant for smoothies not putting on pancakes or french toast. It’s pretty expensive too for what it was. We like the red fuzzy booths and the art on the walls was nice, but the tables are also really small and barely had room for four people’s worth of food. Just pretty disappointed overall.

Wow! Delicious such good service and food! Coffee was smooth I liked it. The Benedict plate was so tasty and fresh salsa for the ham quesadilla. Both were great. The hash browns had a funny flavor perhaps the oil? Regardless it’s decor and people and staff were all over welcoming. I’ll be back soon!

Staff was nice and greeted us with a smile. The restaurant was clean and in great shape. Our coffee was always full and our food showed up fast but, unfortunately, that’s where the praise ends. Every plate had a problem with it, one meal came with slimy cottage potatoes when we asked for crispy hash brown, we paid extra for a side of “fresh fruit” and we received partially thawed frozen fruit that looked like it had already began to go bad, the coffee tasted like burnt Folgers, all the potatos were undercooked and tasted raw, the country fried steak tasted ‘off’. I had high hopes for a small mom and pop ‘neighborhood cafe’ but honestly Denny’s would have been better. Maybe they were having an off day or a different cook but my first time experience wasn’t great.

We have eaten at this place many times and it’s hit or miss. Sometimes amazing and others it’s just not on the mark. I also feel the owner or the manager just doesn’t care sometimes. She had a strong accent and it’s quite hard to understand her. Her delivery verbally is off and makes you feel she’s just not getting what you’re trying to explain. Or just doesn’t care. We have been to the Neighborhood cafe many times and find it’s the owner/ manager that’s the problem. She just doesn’t get her own menu. She need to eat all the food on her menu so she has an understanding of what she sells. She even said when we were last their, I don’t know, I’ve never tried this food. (The food we were ordering). She does try but she may be burnt out…..

We were looking for a place to have breakfast and stumbled on this place. We were not disappointed as our food was on point and enjoyed the quiet and family oriented setting. Their New York Waffle was a great treat as well. The server was friendly and took care of all our requests. Highly recommend you stop by here if you’re in the area.

First time here. Very quick service. Our server was at our table within one minute to take our drink order. Our lunch came out hot and fast. We will be back to try other things. Got the BLT with avocado. Delicious! And good seasoned fries.

I’ve seen this cafe here since it opened and wanted to try it. I’m glad I did! The food was good and the service was great. Our waitress provided service with a smile and made my mom’s 83rd birthday breakfast a hit! Good place to go with a warm atmosphere and great food!
