I like the vibe. Places aren’t geared toward going and having a nice meal these days and feeling like you have time to sit and really enjoy your food. The server was great. The food came out at a good temperature. The portions were excellent, especially for the lasagna. Our dinner was delicious and the place makes you feel like you are family.
Second visit and this time I got the lasagna. I am attaching a photo (last photo) of the lasagna. As you can see the size is quite literally mammoth. Sadly though the noodles were hard and the meat was covered in so much pepper that it was hard to eat. I didn’t say anything in part because the waitress was exceptionally nice and the food came out piping hot, but I have never had something this drenched in pepper. Almost as if the cook/chef dropped the pepper shaker into the meat. Something isn’t right and I don’t think I will be coming back. I am quite literally Sicilian to my bones and have been looking for good Italian food in or around Mayfield Heights for awhile now and alas I guess I’ll keep looking.

We started out looking for a place we had never been before. We stoped at one restaurant and they had no walk ins and seen Gaetano’s. We decided to stop in and yes, we were able to get seated. I am so glad we ended up here. Our server was an older woman with short hair. She was great, very attentive and had a great sense of humor! For starters we had the Italian wedding soup, salad, bread and stuffed Italian peppers. For our meals we had chicken Parmigiana, and linguine and white clam sauce. Everything we ate was delicious, not to mention the prices are very reasonable!! I would definitely recommend!!

I like this place a lot. I don’t think that area of NE Ohio has good Italian restaurants. Granted the Italian food is different in OH than the east coast but this place is good. The people that work there and the owner are great.

Phenomenal little mom and pop Italian restaurant. The bread is heavenly and fresh baked. The menu is pretty basic with Italian classics. My meal was delicious — spicy marinara and shrimp. I could only eat about half of it. Less of a date spot and more of family vibe.

My husband and I stopped for lunch on a whim. It was our first time here and we will definitely be back very soon!! Our waitress was so kind and friendly the entire time. The restaurant has a cozy, family owned vibe and we loved that.
I ordered the chicken Parmesan with cavitelli noodles and my husband got the same with spaghetti noodles. I got a house salad with mine and he had Italian Wedding Soup with his. Everything was absolutely delicious!! I loved the house dressing on my salad and my husband is still raving about how good his soup was. We both throughly enjoyed our entrees as well. The chicken was cooked perfectly and very crispy. Their pasta sauce is also very good. Noodles were cooked perfectly too. They also bring fresh baked bread and oh my goodness!! The best bread we have ever had!! Highly recommend this restaurant for any meal.

Love the salad and house dressing. The bread is really good when brought our warm. Have had mixed reception from waitresses- they dont all come off as warm and friendly but they do their jobs! They seem to warm up to regulars… Had one really nice waitress so far. Have tried lasagna and chicken parm. They will def keep me coming back:))

This is a small, what appears to be, family owned restaurant. We were welcomed as soon as we entered. The restaurant had a decent atmosphere. I enjoyed the Italian music playing low in the background. Our waitress was very nice. They brought out 4 pieces of warm bread for us. It was delicious. Crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. I ordered the eggplant parmesean with a side of spaghetti and aglio olio sauce. The eggplant was nicely cooked and was crispy. I really liked the marinara sauce. It was very flavorful with a hint of sweetness. Not too much, just enough. The side of spaghetti needed salt and parmigian, which was on the table so I could add as much as I liked. My husband got the sausage parmesean sandwich. He really liked the bread, sauce and sausage. It didn’t come with fries or any kind of side though. We also got the wedding soup. It was delicious. There were a ton of noodles. I again added parmesean. We also got a cannoli to share which was one of the best we’ve had in a long time.

You end up really full from the portion size you get from here. Chicken francese is by far the best dish. Eggplant parmesan was very good as well. I’m a huge fan of tiramisu and only reason why I gave 4 out of 5 was that they don’t make this dessert themselves. You can tell it’s frozen since mine was partially frozen on top while the bottom was warm on plate from being quick thawed. Next time I go I will have to try the fried dough they have since that is made in house.
