Decent experience and food was okay, but hardly worth what we paid for it. It was over $40 for an order of wings a potato, and one drink; neither had sides.
The order of wings was better at the bottom where it was hot, flavor was meh and the white barbecue sauce isn’t good. Definitely will not be getting wings again.
The potato was big, and overly rich. Some people may like that though so that’s a personal preference, too rich for my belly though.

First time impressions are important everywhere in anything, despite my not so great experience and finding a proper sized piece of plastic bag in my hush puppy, the main dishes ordered that day, those being the catfish and the pulled pork barbeque were really good.
The sides truthfully aren’t anything special with the Mac and cheese being “generic”, the fried okra being incredibly over seasoned/salted, and hush puppies just being meh (unrelated to the plastic found).
The two sides that do stand out are the cornbread and the banana pudding.
During my visit, they did rectify the problem and I ended up getting cornbread as a replacement to the hush puppies.

First, I would like to say that we have enjoyed Moe’s in the Birmingham area for the last 12 years. The Town Madison location was a huge disappointment. The service was poor. The food was lukewarm & dry. We ordered wings. Price was $24 (+ credit card fee) for 8 very dry wings with 2 tiny sides. The okra was overcooked & the collard greens were mostly hard stems. We all thought the wings were not the same quality as other locations.

First time trying just got to town visiting family. I had wings potato salad, and baked beans. My Sister had pulled pork, potato salad and coleslaw, and fried pickles, my spouse had fried catfish and baked beans with cornbread, and my brother had ribs, potato salad and baked beans. Everyone was satisfied, everything tasted delicious. Fair portions for the price. Average price around $17.00 per person. I recommend you try it. I also tried the white bar-b- que sauce

Only giving it a 3 star because I’m paying $15+ for a bbq sandwich and sides and you’re only getting half a cup of sides… literally half a cup. Measuring cup for reference. C’mon at least make it a full cup it’s literally only two spoon fulls..

Definitely one of my favorite places to grab food and a drink. The wings are consistently good and the turkey as well. They have a core set of sides that are offered everyday and they also have rotating sides that change daily. They are all hit or miss sometimes, depending on who’s cooking, but nonetheless, it gives you a lot of choices to choose from.

As far as establishments of this type the food and atmosphere were as good as can be expected. The bar was cozy and every seat in the bar area had a good view of the TVs. The music was louder than I would have liked and made it difficult to converse. The outdoor seating was well laid out and inviting as well as made you feel included with those inside. The pulled pork was very good with excellent corn bread. The collard greens were fair but I have had better. They were a bit too salty and lacked flavor. Personally I felt that the price for a platter is high for the amount of food given.

No. Just…no. For reference, I’ve lived in Kansas City, New Orleans (not for BBQ – keep reading) & Texas; visited Memphis and North Carolina, as well as other places they make great BBQ. This isn’t it. First, $40 for a pulled pork platter, small rib (4) platter, and two fountain drinks. Then, SALT, everywhere is SALT, all you taste is SALT. ZERO smoke ring on the pulled pork, and texture that says it might as well have been boiled. The ribs at least had a (thin) smoke ring, but they were underwhelming at best (read: SALT). Potato wedges? Strangely sweet, but not sweet potatoes. Collard greens? Tasty, once you get used to being abused by salt. Red beans & rice, and jambalaya? Hardly. PLEASE, PLEASE, find a map, drive to New Orleans, and learn what those things are. I have no idea what you serve under those names, but it’s definitely not red beans & rice or jambalaya. And the kicker? Someone apparently likes jam bands, because the whole time we were in the restaurant we heard a total of TWO seemingly unending songs.

Another fantastic experience from this chain. This is one of my favorite BBQ places in the region. The smoked wings were just fantastic, the Mac & cheese was spot on, and the banana pudding was great. I would definitely go back to this location. I am daydreaming about it already.

Food and service was great. drunk people at the bar ruined the ability to have conversation. they were talking about was when it’s ok to have sex while dating someone. Like for real thats nasty people are trying to enjoy food. Felt bad for the bar tender but at some point something should have been said.
