The gentleman did apologize for the wait but come on over a hour and I called in the order .
Or maybe it’s just the weekend rush
A real gem hidden away in a gas station. Been a while due to Covid, but was in the office this week and was craving Milanesa. I actually tried Tito’s first, but they close at 3pm these days! Thankfully, Lolita stats open until 5pm and readily take phone orders.
My usual is the Milanesa, but also tried the sub and it actually hit the spot! They usually make it with ham and turkey, but ran out of turkey so added salami instead. Frankly, that combo is more like the subs I’m used to and was fine by me. Both were great and huge for the price. Will be back again and again for the service, ability to order ahead and food.

Couldn’t decide between a milanesa torta (my usual), chicharron burrito or a carnitas burrito so I ordered the torta and a burrito with both kinds of meat. Boy was it good and boy was it too much food for one guy. I knew I would have left overs, but I actually gave half my torta to my GF and still had most of my amazing burrito for dinner.
The torta itself is huge and delish. Always made to order, so I suggest you call ahead. They prefer it if you do as well. The burrito with a mix of tender carnitas and spicy chicharron was something I have tried at other places before but never here. It was amazing.
It’s a little hard to find due to the location being in the gas station, but once you do, you will be hooked.
Also there was discrimination based on me being light skinned and they were trash talking me in Spanish (although I’m fluent).
There is also a lack of places to sit; I had to sit outside on the floor. Terrible location and food. Go somewhere else.
I came here with high expectations. I see this place hyped up online on instagram and people talking about how good it is but I thought overall the sandwiches were alright. I got the carnitas sandwich and I wasn’t the biggest fan of how hard the bread is. The carnitas tasted a little bland and I felt like the sandwich was just a little to spicy because the spice overpowered the rest of the sandwich.
Price isn’t too bad. $11 for a big sandwich is good value. Tacos are pricey at around $3 but they were pretty big and the tortilla were good. Overall this place isn’t bad. It’s good but definitely not as good as the hype online makes it out to be. It’s worth checking out if your local.
