If you are looking for a good place with good food and some cozy entertainment on Wednesdays then this is the place to be. The servers Ivy and Isabella, are very good at what they do. The owner, Paul is also very engaging. Coming from a bigger city, it felt like home to me. This was my favorite so far, in this small town.

We tried to support the Levee Street Steak house 3 different times starting on Mother’s day. It was a disaster. Half of the burners were out, the food was cold and people were waiting for dishes that were still in the dishwasher. People were leaving left and right. The second time we went, I ordered the crusted fish. It was undercooked and slimy. That just ruined my appetite. We tried again last week and they were out of shrimp and the dinner salad, so I ordered the plain Alfredo. It was so bland, it tasted like boiled noodles without the sauce.. I asked for some parmesan cheese to give it some flavor, and they were out of that also. All 3 times the waitresses were so kind. I felt so sorry for them. I tipped them generously as this was not their fault. When chef Scott was cooking, it was always so good.
I really want this place to make it, but until there is a new owner, we won’t be back.

The staff here is overall 10/10 accommodating and very friendly. You’ll love the relaxed atmosphere and history lesson on the phenomenal Baldacci Wine collection. This place has definitely been underrated and is a peak destination for anyone visiting Yankton, SD.

Skip the Sunday brunch. First of all, the set up was not great. Just didn’t make sense.
The omelet station was a disaster. The chef kept leaving to go restock food and burned our first omelets. Then he made us new ones and they were runny and had a horrible taste, like oil.
The “warm” food was not warm. The warmers had turned off. The French toast was way undercooked and runny. The biscuits and gravy, bacon, pasta, and links were all very good but cold. The fruit assortment was good. The pastries were not. They were store bought.
There were 2 younger girls just hanging out at the bar. One was even cleaning out her purse! At least one of them should have been in back helping restock food, stir it and make sure it was warm. We were so excited for this brunch! Sad.

We decided to patronize this establishment after having a good experience the previous year but with a few of our friends. Upon entering we were immediately told that they “couldn’t accommodate our group “ after we offered to separate and be seated separately we were flat out told no! This is unfortunate for them as we will never return. This is also an opportunity for the manager to take a course in etiquette and customer service.

I can only offer my own experience- every time I visit the Levee, I get the same dish because you can’t get it anywhere where else in the Vermillion/Yankton area: Seared Ahi Tuna. OUTSTANDING!!! Staff is super friendly and professional. I’ve seen this place grow and am looking forward to when they can offer more to their limited menu. But what they do, they do right! And that bread pudding desert- WOW!! Beautiful wine and craft beer menu. This lovely restaurant has a lot of potential! Go visit and give them your support- you won’t be disappointed!

I ordered an 8 oz filet mignon to be cooked medium. My husband ordered fettuccine alfredo with shrimp. When my husband said our food was taking a long time and something must be wrong. Wow, was he right! My steak was more like a 6 oz steak but was way overcooked, to the point that it had a horrible smell. It was beyond being well done. I refused the entire meal. The shrimp in the alfredo dish was also overcooked. They took my meal off the bill. But for the next day that smell came back to me, nauseating. I can honestly say that was the worst meal I have been served in years. I do NOT recommend this restaurant.

Went there for their Easter brunch very slow service. Brunch buffet was not able to keep stocked country. Fried potatoes were overdone hard biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were overdone only thing on the menu that you could consider a lunch for a brunch with sliced ham. everything else was breakfast Very slow at even getting our first round of soda pop drinks. This restaurant was much better than this back when it was the landing, don’t waste your time.

We had a great dinner experience on the patio with the river view and nice fire pit. The ribeye and wine were top notch as well.
