Honestly very dissatisfied and disappointed. I have loved this place for so long. Every single time I have been there within the last 6 months something is always wrong with my sandwich. I work in food service, and have for years so I’m usually pretty lenient with things like this. After tipping well over 25% and always getting my sandwich’s wrong is so frustrating. I asked for extra lettuce, provolone cheese and sunflower bread I don’t think any of it. Do better

The sandwiches here are great, love that bread. Runs circles around competitors. The service here is great, I wasn’t expecting that. I had the pastrami and it reminded me of what you’d find in Brooklyn or Queens. No wait, even around lunchtime. Can’t wait to go back.

This place has really gone downhill since Bob owned it. 2 8’ sandwiches came to over 26 dollars. And they were extremely lacking on meat and cheese. Didn’t bother to update online prices, won’t be back. Safeway is just up the street and I can buy enough to make sandwiches for the week at these prices. Too bad. Breadboard used to be a lander institution.

Down hill and will not be back. Roundhouse was tasteless. Microwave bacon strips. The chili is pathetic. Use to be so good but this tasted like a can of pork and beans. $34.00 and I didn’t get chips or a drink. Big letdown.

This is by far one of the best sandwich shops I have been to. Not only was food incredible, but the customer service was even better. The owner was so kind and truly made our day. Can not recommend this place enough and will come out of our to visit again!

Sticking with my usual “only 1-Star & 5-Star” review format, just HAD to let people know about this little sandwich shop I discovered in Lander, Wyoming. The people were friendly, the food was good, and the atmosphere is quaint in a good way.
Starting with the sandwich menu, it’s broken up into four categories, called “lines” (like railroad lines) – Red Line, Green Line, Blue Line, and Purple Line. ‘Blue’ is “1 meat & cheese”, ‘Green’ is “2 meat & cheese”, and ‘Purple’ is “various meats and salads”. As for ‘Red’, I couldn’t figure it out.
That said, my 5-star rating isn’t because of the lines, or even the sandwiches, themselves. For starters, it’s about one of the breads…in addition to the usual bread types, they have a sunflower bread (baked in-house), which was absolutely amazing. Not only is it healthy, but it has a wonderful flavor. This is a bread I’d DEFINITELY want again.
Moving over to the soups (which can change daily), there wasn’t much of a choice…not because they only make one type each day, but because, at just before 2pm, whatever the second choice was, it was already gone. However, that was ok, considering the remaining soup was Wisconsin Cheese, which, in addition to Wisconsin Cheddar, it had ham (which I’m certain was smoked), bacon, corn, and a green vegetable that I wasn’t able to determine. Most importantly, it had an outstanding ‘smokey’ cheese flavor. I was told that the normal soup for this particular day would have been broccoli cheddar. But, due to not getting the broccoli, that’s why they made the Wisconsin Cheddar soup…and, I was 100% happy with that (I love broccoli cheddar soup, but this was better).
If you’re going to be passing through…or, even passing by…The Breadboard is DEFINITELY a place worth checking out. And, of the don’t happen to have the Wisconsin Cheddar soup that day, do yourself a huge favor, and (at least) her a sandwich on the sunflower bread. You won’t be disappointed. If only I could find such bread in Las Vegas.

Friendly, cozy atmosphere, the staff is incredibly helpful and the owner helped us directly. Took the time to ask what sounded good and made a fantastic tasting sandwich. Stop here if you’re able. We love Lander Breadboard

I have been coming here for over a decade. Always has been phenomenal. I was slightly disappointed in the Icee instead of the smoothie, but the sandwiches were still of the best quality. The broccoli cheddar soup was to die for. Not to mention… i asked if i could sample a bread stick (new menu item). The lady at the counter went ahead and gave me a FULL DISH of the breadsticks. If you are within one hundred miles… please go see the breadboard!
