I enjoyed everything about this bar, the bartenders and wait staff were really kind and welcoming. Providing us with great food/drink recommendations. This is a great spot to go to if you’re in Georgetown, I personally can’t wait to go back!

Visited on a Sunday afternoon to try the craft cocktails and small bites. We were seated in the front bar area near the window which was open and nice with lots of table space for a group. The service was great – Connor was great and was very knowledgeable about the menu providing us with drink recommendations and food recommendations of some of the restaurant favorites. I truly enjoyed the shrimp ceviche and goat cheese lollipops. We also had the burrata flatbread slices which was a little tough in texture to eat and had an overly healthy amount of toppings which was a little messy to eat. This is a craft cocktail bar so the drinks are very thoughtful and have interesting flavors. I tried the Beach Blanket – blueberry macerated rum yellow Chartreuse allspice and cinnamon and nutmeg. It is smoked with a cinnamon stick and was full and sweet. The team was prompt in clearing the table and bringing dishes as well as checking in on our table. I would love to visit in the evening to experience the interior seating and more of the cocktail menu.
There is street parking and nearby paid deck parking

We came pretty early and didn’t need a reservation, but it filled up quickly after so I do recommend making a reservation. We had such a fantastic time at this spot on a Friday night! I really appreciated the hospitality, care and knowledge of the staff. Our bartender was Dylan and he really went above and beyond to share knowledge and expertise on the Amaros I wanted to try. Plus all the cocktails we had were exquisite. Amazing atmosphere and energy and kind staff.

This place is a hidden gem. Absolutely the best cocktails I had in DC so far. No wonder they are ranked top 5. And their food is low key so freaking good. The vibes are amazing! Definitely a great place to bring a date or hang out with some friends in a fun lose environment that has some serious class. Super friendly staff too! Love this place.

L’Annexe is the perfect cocktail bar for a relaxed, mature, and sexy ambiance. The dim lights, small space, give the bar a nice intimate feel. It’s in Georgetown, which makes it even better.
I came here a few nights ago for the first during girls’ night, and my friend and I truly enjoyed ourselves!
The Korean BBQ tacos were a complete surprise of how delicious they were. The kimchi was my favorite touch to it!! It’s a MUST to order and try.
Bartender, JP suggested the Mule Cocktail that I can not remember the exact name. (It was a bit too sweet for my personal taste, but my friend enjoyed every sip! ) I exchanged for the Queen of the South. And I must say, whoever created that cocktail know their drinks because I’m a Florida gal, and that drink was PERFECTO for me .
The bartenders, Jay and Chris, were also a pleasure to speak to, and all of the genuine service from everyone made it even better. I’m very critical of service because it seems to he a lost art in the restaurant industry, but here, the team stayed true to it.
They are also an actual restaurant, so look into the full menu. It’s worth adding to your list, especially visiting DC.
Thank you, L’Annexe, for being amazing!!! Until next time.

Easily one of the best additions to the DC cocktail scene in years. I can usually recreate at home most of the cocktails I try at the majority of cocktail bars, but this spot has some very unique, very complex creations. And most importantly beyond the inventive menu, the drinks are delicious. Well balanced, well crafted. Well done. And bonus, they serve late. It was a great place to stop by after our show at the Kennedy Center.

Awesome place for cocktail hour! Sophisticated vibe, relatively quiet. We absolutely loved our drinks (Queen of the South and Mule’s P.O.V) My husband said it was the best mule he’s ever had. And the mushroom sliders were to die for. Service was flawless. We’ll be back!

Went here for drinks and we just asked our waiter to bring us any drinks he recommends to try. It was a pretty busy night and everyone else looked like they were having a good time. It was very loud so it was difficult to have conversation. Won’t recommend for dates lol. Drinks were about $20 each so it can be pricy.

Pablo at L’Annexe is a master of mixology. His signature cocktails are creative, perfectly balanced, and full of bold flavors that keep you coming back for more. Pair that with the bar’s incredible food, and you’ve got an unforgettable dining experience. Cutest cocktail bar! I’ve been here plenty of times and usually sit at the bar area, however, I finally decided to reserve the library to celebrate my cousin’s 30th birthday. It’s a $65 minimum per person to occupy the library, which is easy to fulfill if you’re going to indulge in their finger food and delicious specialty cocktails! We also got shots and one of our servers (think she said her name was Carolina) made the birthday girls shot special. Our male server (forgot his name but he was Asian) was so nice and attentive. They both recommended good options on the food and the cocktails. We downed those drinks like water because they were so good! Which reminds me, huge plus that theres a designated bathroom for the library! Overall we had an amazing time and got super cute pictures! (Thank you Hakim for taking our pictures!) 10/10 recommend if you plan to just stay at one location for the night, so worth the price!
