Had a great experience here. Everything was freshly made and up to Panda Express standards. The guy at the counter was friendly too. 4 out of 5 is my score for this Panda Express.

Upon arrival it was 8:20pm. I understand the mall closes at 9, when I asked about the chow mein they told me they weren’t cooking. Knowing Panda Express policy I kindly let them know that Panda Express has a rule to cook up until close. Only then did they cook the chow mein noodles. I think managers should do a better job about communicating this with their staff. There was a lot of food on the table but only veggies left in the Chow mein pan. They also did not have forks the noodles were for my kid, a spoon or chopstick make it difficult for him to eat. Not the best experience. The team though seemed nice. My order was a medium box of chow mein, the noodles tasted stale as if they were just rushing to close. They don’t have a dining area to clean and have 5 people total closing. The ambience definitely was not there.

The manager, Rachel was exceptional at her job. There was only her (taking our orders, grabbing new foods, and talking to the workers in the kitchen about her needs for new ones.) By the time I got to her, another lady has ordered a family meal I believe.. so they ran out of string bean. She offered for me to wait just 3 mins and told me that it’s better fresh anyways. And yes it was better. Not sure how she’s able to pack multiple plates with stickers on them, talk with us, and yet it’s still very clean. Kudos to her! – receipt says 10.03.2025

Ordered for pick up thru the Panda Express app at 5:00 pm and a few minutes later it said order was accepted. Pick up was at 6:30 pm. Got to the store for pick up and noticed they were cleaning up so I spoke with one of the team members Bianca and she informed me that they were close and that when the online order I placed came in she was told by their manager that there shouldn’t be online orders anymore and that he will cancel my order.
Bianca told me that she assumed Remy the manager would contact me to cancel. He did not and I still have not gotten my refund as well. She tried calling Remy when I was there and he was not answering the phone.
Remy as the manager should learn to contact customers and issue refunds right away when he decided to cancel an order. It was an absolute waste of time for me to drive over for pick up when I could’ve ordered food someplace else.

Pretty standard Panda Express. Lines can be long at times depending on when you go. They’re slow to get your orders as they usually only have one person working on your order at a time.

A worker named Rachel served me and had such poor customer service. I don’t think they used a full sentence while taking my order. They seemed extremely passive aggressive, and kept using the phrase “what else” with a horrible attitude. I understand what working in the food industry is like as a past server myself, but that doesn’t mean you take out your bad day on the customers. I literally just met you. I normally don’t leave bad reviews, but the service was just shockingly rude. I don’t understand why it’s so difficult to ask “what else would you like” in a less condescending tone, especially at your workplace. The other employees seemed intimidated by them as well.

I usually get the same thing, but only occasionally go to the southcenter mall location. I only get chowmein as the base so I was really disappointed with this cooking. It was badly cooked noodles. Not even chowmein. A total waste of my money. Not to mention I got way too much broccoli with only a few pieces of meat. The purchase was a total disappointment.

Attitude of the staff was already horrible to begin with, then the food: two little pieces of beef and they took their time digging in the pot to get me the smallest pieces of orange chicken. Shift manager argued saying “the portion is correct!”.

We had a fine experience at Panda Express. It’s nothing special, but it’s a solid, relatable Chinese fast food place. In our experience, the staff was great, very quick and efficient, and we had no problems. In fact, they gave us very large portions that left us feeling very full considering their comparatively low prices.

The food is fine, and it isn’t the problem with this location. It’s the decisions management makes that causes the whole place to be a mess.
I think the icing on the cake was when the cashier gave me all my food and utensils without a bag, and when I asked for one I had to do another transaction because they charge $0.08. Which is fine, but why not just ask the costumer initially if they want a bag instead of making it awkward for both parties…?
Btw, they won’t give you a fortune cookie unless you ask for it.
But at the end of the day I don’t blame the staff, I blame their management. They are probably being very stingy with these things.
All in all, I waited 35 minutes in line just to regret wasting my time here today. I’ll stick to the one in Southcenter Parkway.
