Welcome to Mount Pleasant’s first Social House! This beautifully restored historic home serves as a space where people can connect with friends, family, and neighbors over good food and drinks. It fosters a sense of community and encourages people to connect with each other, often through shared experiences in an engaging atmosphere. In the mornings, we offer coffee & tea with a small selection of pastries. In the evenings, we offer menu options that are meant to be shared & passed, with a nice selection of beverages. We also offer special open events hosted at the venue, and an option to rent the space for your private functions, too!

This is a welcome addition to Mount Pleasant. If you are looking for a place to relax with friends and have a few drinks over shareable plates, look no further, kids. The house is the oldest in town and has been meticulously cared for. Be sure to ask about the engraving on the window. The staff is great and the food is delicious. The drinks are well crafted and the atmosphere is something you’d expect to see in Savannah. It is truly a social house rather than a restaurant. There is inside and heated outside seating. Come give this place a shot, you’ll be glad you did.

Had our first experience tonight at The Cardinal Preserve!! It was amazing. Sadie was our server and she was phenomenal!! So informative and so attentive.. the owners .. Scott and Amanda gave us a tour with so many tidbits on the history of the house. We loved every minute. The bartender Whitney makes an over the top Lemon drop martini. If you have never been. .. this is the next place you have to go. We have already made two more reservations.

The food, exquisite, was only surpassed by the service. Our server, Sadie, was kind, knowledgeable and helpful in deciding what dish to try. The owner, Scott made sure every detail was perfect. If you just want great food, include this stop. BUT, if you want an incredible dining experience, this should be your destination. I predict that by the spring you’ll need to make reservations a month in advance. I wish I could give it more than 5 stars.

We loved our visit to The Cardinal Preserve! The atmosphere is amazing — warm, relaxed, and just a really great vibe overall. We had the Bavarian pretzel and the Brie Brûlée, and both were incredible. The pretzel was perfectly soft with a great dipping sauce, and the Brie Brûlée was such a fun twist and so tasty. The beer and wine selection was on point too. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to!

We chose Cardinal Preserve as the venue for my niece’s bridal shower, and it was perfect! The house has been carefully restored and is beautiful. Amanda and Scott were wonderful to work with and accommodated every single thing we asked of them, and they have a terrific staff. They also know the house’s history and are happy to share it. Cardinal Preserve is truly a gem in my hometown and I hope to go back often!

I am local to Mount Pleasant and was so excited to try this place! I went with my sisters and we had an amazing experience. We shared most of the small plates and had a few cocktails, everything was amazing. Our waitress Summer was so sweet and so accommodating! Cant wait to come back for date night!

We hosted a bridal shower in this gorgeous venue today. It couldn’t have been more perfect. From the beautifully restored facility down to the signature cocktail, the attention to detail is exquisite. Each room has a story. Amanda, Scott and the staff could not have been more accommodating. The time has come! We attended the Cardinal Preserves soft opening and the evening did not disappoint. The rich history and restorations that have taken place room by room will stop you in your footsteps! We were greeted upon arriving and the Cardinal team was attentive all night and didn’t skip a beat! The owners, Amanda and Scott Miller, thought of every detail and made us feel like we were a part of their journey and even had a photo book to share with customers while visiting! You will have a choice of indoor dining or out on their massive deck; which also had our Saturday games on! Then there’s the food and librations! Once again, the Cardinal did not disappoint! An amazing variety that will keep us coming back!! By the end of our experience, everyone made you feel like family and their uniqueness of their offerings truly makes them fit right in with the other community businesses as well! #greatvibe

We have really enjoyed eating at this wonderful new addition to Mt. Pleasant. Beautiful establishment, neat interior, and a very nice outdoor patio. Really neat and tasty food options and a great selection of drinks. Great service and super friendly. Not a complaint from us at all…will be back for sure.
