Service and atmosphere fine, but I do not understand these reviews praising the food. Maybe it was an off night, but the pork au poivre was hands-down the worst restaurant meal I have ever attempted to eat. Tasted like the frozen schnitzel from Aldi, reheated and tossed with pure cheap cognac and a tiny bit of cream. Top it off with grainy mashed potatoes and inch-thick tough asparagus, and you’ve got a meal to remember, in every bad way. To be fair, my wife gave her $60 filet 3 stars out of five, over my 1 for the $38 pork, so we ended up at 2. With the fabulous dining options all over Christiansted, the popularity of this one makes absolutely no sense to me.

Being at downtown Christiansted, its a little hard to find parking here. So better to come in earlier than your reservation to find a place to park. It took a while for the hostess to come over to attend our reservation and help us get seated. Its a large and lively space with inside, outside and courtyard seating. Once seated inside, the server too took a while to attend to us.
We ordered Mussels for appetizer and it was absolutely great. The broth was tasty and the mussels were delicious. I had the love potion and it was a very delicious drink. My husband didnt enjoy his old fashioned as much and mentioned it didnt have the required sweetness.
For dinner we ordered salmon that came with mashed potatoes, cheese burger and plate of ribs. My son thought the burger was one of his favorite gourmet burgers ever. The salmon was well cooked and had a good crust but could have had a little more flavor to it. Feedback on ribs was that it was just okay. We had to be somewhere for an appointment after the dinner and thought that 90 mins was enough to finish dinner but the service was going a bit slow…we ordered few desserts to carry out and they were out of an item, which meant the process took a bit. It seemed like the server was trying to keep up but it was very busy and the space being so large meant she had to go a longer distance, so I sympathize with the time taken, but made us anxious. They also seem to have one restroom for that giant space and that was causing a lot of people to just wait in the hallway for what seemed forever, to use the restroom. Overall food is good but pricey, service could be improved and another restroom should definitely be figured out.

Look we went there every Saturday night for almost a year back in 2019/2020 and glad to see people still enjoying the food and the staff. The owner was so friendly and accommodating. We always felt special every time we went there. Service always special and the cooks were great. The steaks were the best I have ever had. He would always pick out steaks for us when he shopped. One thing we never ever complained about was price because the food was excellent and the setting was always perfect. My hope is to revisit this place this year to once enjoy what we miss.

After a week in beautiful St. Croix, we ended our trip on the highest of notes with dinner here. Five stars, ten out of ten, two thumbs up, cannot recommend enough! The atmosphere is divine and so relaxing; the service was top notch, not rushed but perfect timing for my taste; and the food: the best we had anywhere in the week we spent here. I had the filet, perfectly cooked with an absolutely perfectly paired red wine sauce with mushrooms and shallots. Chef’s kiss!

The open outdoor courtyard with palm tree, outdoor bar and upstairs air conditioned bar are unmatchable. Service, atmosphere, food and friendliness just perfect. An incredible experience and “don’t miss” restaurant. Thank you David and Jane. Upstairs bartender Posha has been a top bartender on island for many years and makes incredible drinks. Thank you all again for a wonderful experience.

There, I was fortunate to be served by Pasha, whose exceptional service truly elevated the evening. From thoughtful dish recommendations to attentive hospitality, Pasha ensured every detail was just right.
The food was outstanding—from the fresh and flavorful starter salad to the perfectly prepared main course. The Zinfandel wine by the glass was also a standout, pairing beautifully with the meal.

By far the best meal I have ever had. From appetizers to dessert me and my family were amazed. Service was incredible and our waiter was very knowledgeable about the menu and gave great recommendations. The atmosphere was relaxing and sophisticated. An absolute must travel to restaurant.

You would never have thought such a cute place exists behind the front doors of Too Chez. The bar and courtyard are absolutely the cutest place I have seen on the island (so far). Our dinner experience was impeccable. We started with a couple drinks (Paloma and violette 75) both very refreshing. For an appetizer we had the brussel sprout dip – fantastic! For our main dishes, my husband had the teriyaki wasabi salmon special and I have the marinated white bean salad with shrimp. Everything we ate was delicious and very well seasoned with balanced flavors. 10/10 from beginning to end!
