Very good street tacos. Packed with meat, juicy, and flavorful. Will definitely come again.
When I went, the truck was parked outside of coral crater. You will see it driving the back road from Kapolei to Ewa. Had to park off road on the dirt.
Definitely worth visiting again, but it is a bit on the pricier side, so it will be an occasional visit.

Third visit, still one of our go-to Mexican food trucks on Oʻahu.

We picked up a quick dinner to bring home and both had the birria tacos this time. The tacos themselves were excellent — tender meat, great flavor, and clearly made with care.

I’ll be honest: the consommé was a bit saltier than the first time I had it. That said, the overall flavor and food quality still beat Frida’s hands down, especially when it comes to birria.

Service is quick, portions are generous, and the food consistently hits the mark. We’ll definitely be back.

Was told this is the best Mexican food on the island so we sought this place out when we were in the vicinity. This Mexican food is Jalisco style which usually means that the food is more soupier than traditional. If the flavors aren’t there than its just a sloppy mess. Fortunately this food had a lot of flavor. There’s a lot of Mexican joints I still haven’t tried but up to this point I would say it’s top tier. My only suggestion would be to replace the flour tortillas. They aren’t freshly handmade and they really take away from the actual food inside. The food portions are what you would expect for the price. The staff is friendly and we were able to find shade at a nearby table.

As far as Mexican food goes on Oahu, this place is okay, meaning average. I try to give folks the benefit of the doubt here because I grew up in California and spent a lot of time in El Centro. However, I do expect flavor and here it was lacking. Portions are smaller in comparison to other Mexican restaurants too, and with everything, the prices seemed to have increase recently. It’s just too bad the quality didn’t shift up as well. Three stars because the staff is pretty friendly.

Amazing little taco truck. Wanted the enchiladas but they were out so I settled for the Carne Asada Taco Plate and a I also got a shrimp taco. Have to say both were very good. I washed it down with some cold horchata. Definitely will be back to try the enchiladas

The beef birria tacos were so good! The meat so so tender and the cheese matched so well. The tortilla was so flavorful as well. The Al pastor tacos were good as well but the birria was more memorable. The onions and lime on both added good freshness. Come on taco Tuesday for their deals!!

The portions are so small, even for tourist trap standards.
Every little thing costs extra: salsa, enchilada sauce, rice.
Very few choices of meats and beans.
No homemade tortillas.
Al pastor taco tastes okay.
Enjoy my photos

General review, don’t bother if you’re looking for any kind of Hispanic or Mexican food.

Picked up two California burritos (spicy Al pastor, mild chicken) and even from the get go was a terrible experience since the lady behind the counter couldn’t be bothered to get off her FaceTime call.

Beyond that the food was technically put together but not much going on past that. Cold tortillas barely holding together and tearing, flavorless chicken and kind of spicy not really al pastor, soggy fries that just turned into a mush ball, all drowned in a kind of mixed up mash of what might be guac and sour cream with cold hard cheese.

I’m not really one to leave reviews but from someone who lived in New Mexico and Texas this was bad enough for me to leave one. Would have been better off not spending the excessive price to just not finish

Got one fish taco and one shrimp taco, each for 4 bucks. Very wet taco – the shell was put in the fryer to warm it up but not crunch it up. Hence very oily dish. But together with the refreshing ingredients, it was very well combined bite with very plump shrimp.
Fish taco was bit disappointing with small hard pieces of fish that ruins the taste.

I was blown away by how good the tacos were here! The birria and beef tacos were so tasty and so were the quesadillas. Highly recommended to refuel after a shopping spree at Waikele Outlet stores.
