Incredible food, (meats) fast friendly service. The portions are very generous. More than enough to share. They did have some unique twists on some foods. The coleslaw was not what I would call typical it was heavy on the pepper which is fine, but the overall taste was non discript. The bbq sauce was unuunusual to me. Slightly watery with a tomato base. The tenderness of the meats was incredible, all meats were very flavorful, moist and great taste. The baked beans were somewhat bland. The clear stars were the meats and great crinkle cut French fries. The bread was packaged bland dinner rolls. We had fresh homemade fried pork skins as an appetizer. We had plain, I used hot sauce to dip them 9n. They do offer seasoned varieties.

Unassuming legendary BBQ foodie spot in Gastonia NC. The barbecue is just perfection especially paired with their house sauces! Ribs are amazing fall off the bone dry rub style. Brisket perfectly smoke and melts in your mouth. The smoke wings, when they have it, are to die for. For a barbecue place, their burgers rivals burger joints. Probably the best thickburger in town hands down! Plus, you get your money’s worth. Portions are huge. One star taken away for how cramp the parking and restaurant is. But restrooms are clean and nicely decorated. Prompt service is a plus!

I’ve passed by here so many times I can’t count how many. I went in there yesterday I got a chili cheeseburger, my lady got a chili cheese dog and we split some smoked wings, dipped in Frank’s. I have no complaints I have utmost respect and appreciation for Sarah and Sherry who make it so pleasant and are so important, making sure that the customers are satisfied please give them a dollar to $2 raise per hour because having staff like this will bring people who appreciate good service back over and over again and I’m within a 5-mi radius. I pass by here everyday. Thank you Sarah, thank you Sherry. I’m sorry if I misspelled the names.

First time eating there n won’t be back. the food I ordered was not good at all. The brisket sandwich I got was slop. Couldn’t tell if the brisket had any flavor due to too much cheese drowning it along with the pepper n onions. The hoagie roll was beyond soggy and became greasy bread pudding within a few mins and the sweet potato fries I ordered for my side weren’t lukewarm but straight up cold. For a spot that my husband and I spent over $30 at very disappointing.

Definitely was welcomed as soon as me and my family walked in!! The atmosphere was very calm for a Friday lunch afternoon, and Veronica and Sarah met our needs and made sure my sweet tea was filled at ALL times.
If your looking for fresh fresh BBQ straight from the smoker or a 1/2 1b fresh chuck burger you can’t finish it all, have to ask for a to-go plate GO TO RAYS ☀️

I came across this place last week online. It’s not far from us and thought we would try it this weekend. Wow! This is a little local place that we never knew was there and the food and atmosphere was awesome.
My husband had the pulled pork dinner and I chose the combo with brisket and ribs. My husband did use the sauce, but I did not. All of the meat was tender, full of flavor and delicious. The staff were also wonderful and treated everyone like they were regulars.
We highly recommend this place and will most certainly be going again.

Food was great. The first time eating here and will be back.. the only complaint I have is the regulars got a lot more attention and service than new comers.. our waitress spent a lot of time talking to other tables and didnt really come check on us.. I had to ask someone else for our check.. but over all good and will give it another try
