I had a wonderful experience at Chi’s Express! While the inside is tiny and cozy, the atmosphere is incredibly welcoming. The staff is super nice—the woman who helped us was so patient and gave us plenty of great options to choose from.
The food was delicious, and you can really tell they care about their customers. I will definitely be coming back again! Highly recommend if you’re looking for great Chinese fast food in Denver.

So much to say. This place is small, walk in only with no seating but that doesnt matter!

The combo is a great deal, rice or lo mein with two entree options and they HEAP it into the box!

The value ia great and the food was delicious. Other stand out things were that it was SUPER clean! The whole room was clean!

The food is fresh! Nothing looked to be sitting for days or limp, or re-dunked in sauce.

They are super efficient! They move the line quick.

I was thoroughly impressed with the quality and taste of the food. I took a crummy picture because I dug in so quick. We tried the Volcano chicken, sesame chicken and jalapeño chicken. We love the volcano and the sesame because Bring on the Spice!

Chi’s Express in Denver is officially my new go-to for delicious and affordable Chinese takeout. Don’t let the photos I snapped fool you — we came in close to closing, so the pictures don’t do the food justice. What really impressed me is the quality. Unlike a lot of inexpensive takeout spots, Chi’s actually uses fresh, real ingredients. The chicken tastes like actual chicken — not mystery meat or filler.

My go-to dishes are the Volcano Chicken and the Orange Chicken — both packed with flavor and cooked perfectly every time.

We ordered two full meals, both with egg rolls, plus a Thai tea, and the total was under $20. In this economy, that’s almost unbelievable. Between the price, the portion sizes, and the quality of the food, Chi’s Express is an absolute steal. Highly recommend!

DISGUSTING Save your money, go someplace else.
The last time I ordered the food was so delicious. My order tonight was extremely disappointing. My egg drop soup and Mongolian was so so spicy, I couldn’t eat it. My shrimp still had the skin on it but was breaded on the outside. My bourbon chicken was so hard and dry, I couldn’t eat it. Even my egg roll was over cooked.
I could only eat my lomain noodles. I called to ask why the food was so spicy this time and I was basically told I was imagining it.
Save your money, go someplace else. I get paid once a month and was so excited for my “treat”. I wasted $50 bucks.
they got a 5 star for service because the delivery driver stayed on the phone with me until he found my place.

This is definitely a good Chinese scoop restaurant. The quality isn’t super like other Chinese restaurants but for the price and quantity it is ell worth and still taste pretty good. I wouldn’t mind coming here randomly here when I’m craving Chinese food just for a cheap meal.

Okay but Chi’s Express goes kinda hard for value. Very solid Scoop Chinese spot, generous on the scoops. Very yummy

The hype is real. I’ve had this place bookmarked for ages but I’m never around it.

Hands down the best scoops restaurant I’ve been to. Interior is clean, staff is nice, and the food is on par. They also don’t use spaghetti noodles for their lo mein which is a huge red flag for me.

Service is very quick, but the vegetarian menu is EXTREMELY LIMITED, lo mein only. Even the fried rice already contains chicken. I’m disappointed that the online menu appears to include more vegetarian options, AND seafood options. There was no shrimp available.

Yes it is your typical cheap pay per scoop Chinese restaurant. I don’t pay a premium for Chinese food cause it all tastes the same, so for all you Panda Express and PF Chang goers, “SUCKERS”.

I stopped by after visiting the Disc Golf store next door. Not a single regret. I know the lo mien noodles are probably not hand made, but there’s a nice chew to them like hand made noodles. Paired very nicely with the volcano chicken, assuming you are into spice.

Sesame chicken and broccoli with beef were spot on. The broccoli had a nice texture, didn’t taste soggy and reheated. Sesame chicken was good, not overly sweet. Wasn’t the best I’ve ever had, but still good.

IMO, for all the cheap Chinese scoop restaurants along Washington, this one takes the cake. Really a good place to grab food and go. There was only one small table for dine-in.

We ordered our food online for pickup. We ordered General Tso chicken, Shrimp Fried rice, fried rice, and donuts. The General Tso dish was horrible. The “chicken” batter was hard as a rock, and 99% breading. Both fried rices tasted old, and the regular fried rice tasted fishy. The Shrimp fried rice has raw shrimp, that my roommate couldn’t eat because he’s a transplant recipient. A total waste of $40. They lost our business.
