Make it to Menlo, it will be worth your drive! While this hidden gem caters to locals, you will be delighted by the avo toast options, pancake delights and home cooked lunch options. If you are in a hurry, this is not your stop as every item is freshly prepared. The breakfast burrito with chorizo is the best I have ever had and I recommend splurging for a Smores a la carte pancake for a little sweetness. Clean and a fantastic small town find!

Hands down a great breakfast (biscuits/sausage gravy + one egg, hash browns and bacon). Excellent coffee and a smiling server who kept it hot/topped off. Value meal for sure!
Seems to be a favorite with the locals to start off the day.
City campgrounds is a short walk away. Will stop here again on our return route.

We loved this place. Nice hometown resturant. We love trying small town mom and pop resturants when we go on road trips. Found this one on Google and we were not disappointed. Great place to talk and/or listen to the locals. The food was good I had a chicken sandwich and tots, husband had a tenderloin and tots both were really good. Service was good and everyone was friendly. We highly recommend stopping by or making a trip there.

Had high hopes for this place. First off communication is key, so if the kitchen staff and the servers don’t have that, it may not be a great experience for your customers. The wait for food was long, we didn’t get all the food we asked for. We asked for food on the side, it was put right on top of the food. The building was freezing even with winter jackets on. Bathrooms were extremely gross. I love supporting small, so for me to write this review it was hard. Hoping it gets better.

Cozy small-town cafe/diner with great food. The breakfast menu is fairly traditional and all delicious. I’ve also gotten the breaded chicken sandwich for lunch – so good. Ask for Sriracha honey on the side.

Mom and I have breakfast here almost every Sunday. They have amazing food and the small town atmosphere is the best. They have some of the very best and friendly server’s also. I feel just like part of the family every Sunday.

Our breakfast today was so good. The cinnamon roll pancake was especially delicious! Coffee refills came quickly and often. Service was prompt and friendly. Everything was cooked perfectly. Can’t wait for our next visit.

Worst food and service I have ever had. They were to busy playing cards to get the order right and cooked properly, sausage was burnt, eggs were cooked hard, toast was wheat when the order was eggs over easy and white toast why the sausage was burnt on one side and served with that side down says it all. Ordered decaff coffee they said they had to make it one half hour later they brought it to me no creamer no sugar .my wife ordered French toast no syrup all in all over a hour in the restaurant and cold food. Will never go back.
