Attentive and friendly service with fantastic food!
Our group had the trout, Cuban, fries, chicken tenders and sides of veggies.
These were the best chicken tenders I’ve had. They were for our kid and he ate enough to be full and then our table went to town on them, absolutely delicious!
The Cuban sandwich was flavorful but needed a little more time on the press, the cheese wasn’t melted enough for everything to come together.
Excited to return when we’re in town again!

This is a new restaurant in town and it’s amazing. We have already come twice for dinner. The service is excellent. The ladies at the front always greet you with a smile. Atmosphere is great. The decor is well done.
Seating is a bit tight but not a problem.
I wish they had more options in their menu.
The Cuban sandwich was very flavorful. The burger was ok. Jerk chicken Alfredo was delicious…the chicken was so good.

My husband and I enjoyed the most delicious meal today at the Live Oak Pub. We started off with corn, jalapeño hush puppies in a flavorful Green Goddess dressing. They were so good, the corn was sweet and the jalapeño just added a little kick. For our entrees we ordered the Cuban, very good and the Jerk Chicken Sandwich, which was perfection. This was our first time visiting the cute pub and we will absolutely go back! We read their write up in Parade magazine talking about the restaurant and that they had the best trout sandwich the reviewer have ever tasted, which of course made us super excited to go try out the restaurant. We have only ever heard amazing reviews of the Live Oak Gastropub. I encourage all to go, the food is definitely elevated to something special. Burnsville is very fortunate to have this gem in the town.

We arrived here on a very foggy day after a long Drive on Blue Ridge Pkw the food was amazing and the staff very friendly. This was truly a Gem of a location to grab some tasty local food. The portions were very good in size. We had the Chicken Alfredo and Cuban sandwich.
The Chicken Alfredo was spot on, Chicken tasted very fresh and flavorful, the pasta was well cooked and seasoned.
The Cuban Sandwich was also very tasty, the pork was very flavorful with a nice portion of fresh cooked fries.

We were excited to try this new restaurant on the lower level in Spruce Pine.
We arrived in the late afternoon when the sun was still bright, so we asked for an inside table. The grill inside was going strong, so there was a good bit of smoke in the room. We ordered drinks, and when they arrived, we asked the waitress if we could move outside. She was very gracious, explaining that they were on the third fan, trying to get the exhaust working properly.
We moved outside to a nice shaded table and our food arrived soon after.
I had the flatbread pizza, one of the specials that night, which was delicious. My wife had the trout sandwich which was also very good. She eats trout often, so if she says it is good, it is!
They also have a good selection of beer and wine. My wife tried the cherry cider. Unusual and very tasty.
The staff went out of their way to make our visit a good one, and we’ll be back soon.
