I recently moved to the area from CT and was introduced to ” The House of Sauce ” by a friend who works inland in my town. House of Sauce is set back slightly off Coastal Highway but there is a small sign right on Coastal Highway. Located behind Fenwick Island Nautical Sportswear. It has a large parking lot and is tucked in a small village of shops. House of Sauce has stunning views of the bay that nobody should miss anytime of the year and has outdoor seating. Inside they have a nice bar , a casual dining room and a very large dining room with bay views. The vibe is laid back and the owner( Lance ) and the servers / bartenders ( Amelia and Steve ) are top notch !! There are several TVs and watching sports here is a must. They also have non stop TRIVIA. The welcoming owner is most always on the premise to greet . They have specials everyday and of course over 30 sauce flavors for your wings. Wednesdays are 1/2 price wings as are during pro football season games. Live entertainment is on most nights with dancing. What I was most impressed by was the extensive menu and the entrees. The fresh Grouper or Rockfish are the best in Ocean City and don’t underestimate the steaks !! , all at a very reasonable price. I have absolutely no connection to the House of Sauce but felt that they separated themselves from the many other restaurants in the area !!

This place is a must when you are visiting Fenwick Island or Ocean city! They have simple, delicious and cheap breakfast menu. They serve it from 8AM to 12PM on Saturday and Sundays. Their staff is so welcoming and cheerful and the food is absolutely delicious. Food is great quality and good portions. It’s all freshly made, not just like usual frozen food. Crepes are amazing! Their working hours are usually from 11AM to 11PM but when they serve breakfast, they open at 8AM. Happy hour is from 11AM to 17PM for food and drinks. Also, good piece of information is that there is no sales tax in Fenwick Island which means you pay the prices you see, without taxes.
Their lunch menu looks great and food looks delicious so I’ll leave another review when I try some of the meals from the lunch menu.
They are famous for their wide choice of sauces (mild, medium and hot) and if you try all of them, your name ends up on a wall with your favourite sauce and you win a shirt.
They also have live music few times per week and beautiful view of the bay! Perfect place if you want to grab morning coffee and breakfast, eat family lunch or have a romantic dinner.
All in all, I highly recommend visiting this place. If you try food here, you will come back for sure!

What started out as a fairly decent experience turned sour mid way through our visit. There were 7 of us and started with a variety of Wi gs, which were great. Then we ordered our entrees. They were okay, nothing to write home about, but fair pub food. My son was eating crab Mac n cheese when he noticed a bug stuck under the pasta, kind of stuck in side one of the noodles. He had eaten more than half of it and was disgusted when he found this. We told a waitress whom then went and got the manager(I’m assuming he was the manager) he looked annoyed when the waitress told him the issue. Can tone table and said “oh that’s just a fly”, and started at my husband. What?! We totally understand that it’s a beach restaurant and there’s bugs and flies, but they shouldn’t be stuck under your pasta! He never apologized or said another word to us. I asked for the check and we left. Most meals not even finished, since no one felt like eating after that.

Every chance I get I visit House of Sauce, mainly for their wings. The staff have always been super nice to me and my wife. They are always willing to make suggestions based on what you tell them you like about certain sauces. The prices are great and they often have specials. You’ll love it!

House of sauce is true to its name; there are lovely and unique sauces here. But their execution leaves some space for improvement. My deviled eggs were an absolute mess and very unappealing; they tasted not much better than they looked.
The service was absolutely excellent! Great crew!

We recently held a surprise birthday party at the House of Sauce and we cannot say enough positive things about our experience. Lance was so easy to work with planning the event. The food was fantastic. Our servers Jess and Steve were wonderful, and the music was great. If anyone is looking for a venue for a special occasion we highly recommend House of Sauce.

Wife and I got blackened shrimp tacos (3 @ $16) and blackened shrimp quesadilla (4 small pieces @ $18). Shrimp was overly spiced and tacos overall were just ok. Not good and not bad, but just ok. Quesadilla presentation, size, composition, toppings and taste were all woefully lacking for the high price. Servers were friendly but seemed very new and one of them a bit stressed from the prior large crowds just prior to us. The outside tables right on the water was nice. This was one and done for me.

We went to The House Of Sauce for an early New Year’s Dinner. They have outstanding wings with the largest selection of sauces on the shore. Tonight we tried the broiled rockfish. It was very delicious. The House Of Sauce is much more than just wings!
