Last year, I had the opportunity to have diner in La scala.
What a good discovery!
The place is nice.
The food is excellent.
And above all, the owner Mr Chandra is kind and passionate to welcome and serve his clients as if he had opened his restaurant the day before.
I have come back many times and I have never been desapointed.
Looking forward for the next one!
Ps: if you are lucky you will find the beautifull vintage blue Citroën 2 chevaux of the boss in front of the restaurant that matches perfectly to the walls! 😉

Adorable tiny restaurant. Fresh roses on each finely set table. The entire wait staff was SO overly kind and gracious. I would eat there just for their smiles and hospitality. Each meal comes with incredible bread with oil and herbs. I enjoyed the chicken piccata and it was amazing. They also have take out available and that is always ready within 10 minutes.

This might be the worst experience at a restaurant I have ever had. We made a reservation for dinner by calling the restaurant and getting a confirmed reservation on the phone, but when we arrived at the restaurant at the designated time, the manager told us they had no record of our reservation. We even showed him the evidence of us calling the restaurant on our phone, to no avail. Even though there were multiple open tables when we arrived, the manager refused to seat us, allegedly for the ridiculous reason that we had 5 people and he only had tables for 4 or 6 people. He didn’t say it, but I am certain he decided not to seat us because we were there with my 2.5 year old daughter. Even though she was perfectly quiet (more quiet than the other kids that were already eating in the restaurant), that didn’t seem to matter. The manager ultimately told us that we must have talked to the owner of the restaurant to make the reservation, but the owner was not at the restaurant, so there was nothing he could do. I honestly still can’t believe the way the manager handled the situation – I will never go back to this place, and I would encourage others to avoid this place like the plague.

We happened upon LA Scala while in the area, and found an Italian delight. The food was delicious while service was so comforting. My wife and I felt instantly welcome. I highly recommend the Ossobucco Milanesa.
