This cafe does several dishes better than most restaurants. I think their chef is Tonya and she does such a great job. There’s a young guy chef at night who is great too. The catfish nuggets and homemade French fries are stellar. The omelettes and breakfasts are fabulous. I can’t recommend this little cafe enough. It’s real cute inside too with Platte County nostalgia. We’re very fortunate to have it.

I would have to say that this place has a great breakfast. The potatoes are freaking amazing…. I drive 40 mins to eat here and the staff and everyone are great. One place my dad love to go to when he was with us. RIP Dad we think of you every time we go. Give it a try, hope it is a great breakfast for you.

Staff was great and food was good however it was extremely hot inside. Asked the staff why it was so hot and was told they aren’t sure why the AC is not keeping it cool. I did notice a fan propping the door open to the connecting convenience store blowing cool air into the restaurant. Nobody wants to eat on a hot July day in an equally hot restaurant. Staff also should not be subjected to that heat all day. Owner really needs to look into getting that AC repaired.

My husband got breakfast got biscuits and gravy. They were wonderful and he’s very picky. I got a horseshoe sandwich. It is the best sandwich I have ever had. I did get some piggy fingers to go. They were great, but the fries were not what I expected. I expected the same battered fries that I got with my horseshoe sandwich and instead, I got regular homemade fries. They were very, very good, but just not the ones I expected Overall I was so thrilled I had to make review.

My parents come here several times a month. My dad likes the chicken salad and the cheesy tenderloin sandwich. My mom likes the all day breakfast. I loved the onion tanglers. This place can be quick busy for a truck stop, there could be a wait for your food depending on the time of day.

Great tasting food and friendly service. I ordered the catfish nugget dinner with hand-cut fries. The only thing keeping me from giving 5 stars, is the lack of catfish nuggets. There could have been a few more in basket, but like I said everything else was great especially the service.

For a gas station diner. It’s pretty good. My only complaint was the size of the tenderloin. It wasn’t big enough to cut in half. I think the sandwich would be the better option! Our service was great! My only suggestion is making your tenderloin bigger ( when doing a hot tenderloin) It definitely wasn’t a pre-frozen tenderloin!

The place, the service, and the food are excellent. The only problem is the coffee; it smells and tastes burnt, no matter how much cream or sugar you add. It tastes terrible. Everything else, as I said, is excellent, but please, change the coffee!

went and got country fried steak breakfast and my mom had the pork fingers. everything came out SUPER HOT and fresh. server was very nice and remembered everything. only thing i would say is they could put more seasonings, but it was a very good time. will be coming back!

Perfect place for breakfast. Seats were nice and comfortable. Service was quick. Food was satisfying. Good price. The one minor challenge is as a guy that has done manual labor for 40 years the silverware is kinda thin for my old hands, but I understand why they use them, so people don’t steal them . All in all a great place
