Took over 40 minutes to get our food even though we were behind 1 other customer. We were about to ask for our money back then our food arrived. I had the spicy miso ramen and it was amazing. I worth the wait. The owner was very nice and apologized. I’d come back again but they definitely need to work on the speed without the loss of quality.

Take a break, more like take a hike. I noticed this boba shop the other day and thought it would be nice to check out. I walked in and there was one other customer in front of me wrapping up the order. Customer asked the order taker (young woman) how long it would take, order taker responded about 30 mins. I assumed they ordered food which based on the menu consisted of Japanese fried foods and ramen. Any other establishment this would take no more than 15 minutes. Looking around, it wa obvious they opened it ill prepared. They had piles of brown boxes of their supplies on the other side of the establishment (within customer view), the paint on the wall was uneven. The tables/chairs were awkwardly laid out. While the bathroom, I have seen tidier bathrooms at gas station. They didn’t have any paper towels in the dispenser just a roll of paper towel while the trash bin was uncovered with an HEB plastic bag. I should have walked out after seeing the disarray but decided to wait on the food. Yes, it did take them 30 mins to bring out my food. The ramen was disappointing, I have a feeling they proportioned out the broth with the previous customer because the broth was only a 1/3 full of the bowl while the noodles were partially cooked. I ordered the chicken kaarage and there was nothing special about it. Just tasted like double fried chicken nuggets with spicy mayo on the side. I agree with the other reviews, the young woman who is order taking (but is also cooking) needs to work on her customer service. The drink was okay, I got the winter melon milk tea but it is not worth returning for.

I think this place is still a little new and needs some time to decorate, but we came with low expectations and were pleasantly surprised. The staff was polite and friendly, offering refills of milk tea as we waited for food to come out. I wasn’t a huge fan of the heaping pile of thin noodles in the ramen, but the chashu pork was out of this world. My ramen was not served at the hottest temperature, but it was pleasant nonetheless.

If you find yourself in the Universal City area, you won’t regret stopping by. From their variety of milk teas to their soup bao—not to mention their delicious wings—this place is awesome. The staff is attentive, and the background music creates a great atmosphere. Food is fresh and made to order.

Very cute place with delicious Ramen and Boba! The food did take a while to come out, but the owner was so sweet and gave us extra free drinks to compensate. Definitely come out here, it was worth the wait!

employee was sweet and the drinks were okay; mostly writing the review based on the food. I ordered a tonkotsu ramen with shrimp and karaage chicken. The quality of the ingredients are very cheap compared to the price of the dish. Genuinely, instant ramen probably would’ve been a better choice than what was served. The karaage chicken was comparable to Tyson chicken nuggets; nothing like actual chicken karaage I’ve been served at different restaurants both dishes were absolutely NOT worth the ~$15 we spent for each. I feel like I could’ve made better at home. I won’t be back but I wish this business well.
