I love the concept of the hot stone bowl, it keeps your broth hotter for a longer time. If you’re a slow eater like me, I recommend adding only half your noodles at first, then the rest later, or they’ll end up soggy. Speaking from experience, lol!
Anyways, the broth was really lacking in flavor. It was so bland that we actually had to add some fish sauce to make it taste decent. The service was quick, but don’t expect top tier customer service. You can tell the restaurant is a bit run down, but otherwise, it has your typical pho restaurant vibe. The pho didn’t quite hit the spot, but it was still an experience.

Look, I’m going to say pretty much what everyone else said, but it needs to be said. Pho Hot Pot is an absolute hidden gem and I almost don’t want to tell you about it because I want to keep it for myself. My wife and I love Pho and we have been to Pho restaurants all over DFW. Pho Hot Pot literally left me speechless. My wife, on her first sip of the broth looked at me in shock and said. ” OH! That’s it! We’re never going anywhere else.” And she was right. We obviously have been to other places since then, and it was good, but it was not on the level that we enjoyed at Pho Hot Pot. Additionally, their menu is extensive with options you won’t find any where else. I can’t think of any where else you can get Pho and lobster. I could go on and on but seriously this place is everything everyone says it is no question.

The place is highly unprofessional. I placed an order online and they call after payment to ask me to pay more cause THEIR website is incorrect. Thinking that is ridiculous first I say no, they proceed to tell me that I need to work with their website to see if I can request a refund which wouldn’t be instant, after paying almost $40 already and headed to the store to pick up my order. Since the difference was $8, I ended up just giving in. I get to the store and they haven’t even started my order because of the $8 charge they wanted to wait on. I pay it and stand there waiting for the smallest bag of crawfish I have ever seen. I let it all just go because why let this keep upsetting me, just to look 3 days later and see that they re-charged me $42 in their system for the same meal I already paid for on their website. Then to top it all off the crawfish was disgusting. I will be honest and say the lady at the front was very kind but get it together!

Another little gem in the shopping center. Their pho is the winner winner pho dinner.
!!Pho combination. This is the pho you’ve been looking for. The broth is soooo savory. It was so good adding the meats and noodles to the hot pot.
Pho tofu. It was almost as good as the #1. It needs more of meats to deepen the savory flavors.
~Mi Quang. It was a little on the bland side. It could use some salt but I have had better. I would skip unless you’re craving this style of soup.
~Spring rolls. It was alright also. The peanut sauce was the highlight. I would skip.
Fyi. Wait to be seated. Don’t be shy to ask for things. Our table didn’t have any sauce, napkins or typical cutlery. (Add $1-2 because the online prices do not reflect the actual prices.)

Don’t expect to get all the meats if you order combination pho. They won’t tell you if they ran out before they bring it out, so you can’t change the order. I was craving meatball and ended up with a bowl of tendon. Very disappointing. Had to go to First Chinese BBQ to satisfy craving. Not returning here again.

Went there for a quick dinner. Tables were placed way too close for my liking, I guess I am still not over this covid thing. Anyways got their wings and Mi Quang. Wings were freshly fried (a plus) but a little on the oily side and lacking in the flavor department. The Mi Quang was OK, the broth was not intense enough like most places I have had it. It was a little watered down but thankfully the chef did not drown the noodles in the broth like some other places that claims they serve Mi Quang.

My younger brother and I absolutely love Phở Hotpot and Crawfish 7. We come to this restaurant fairly often to order some takeout for lunch or dinner. My younger brother is a big fan of rice dishes, so he has frequently ordered grilled pork chop, fried egg, shredded pork skin, baked egg meatloaf and deep fried chicken with rice. Now speaking of Vietnamese deep fried/crispy skin chicken dish, this restaurant makes it best seriously. I highly highly highly recommend y’all try this particular dish if y’all haven’t yet. And if y’all dine out here, please get ready to taste some yummy-juicy-crispy chicken pieces serve with tomato rice, sliced cucumbers and tomatoes, their signature dipping sauce, and be sure to ask for some lightly seasoned, broth-based small bowl of soup for the complete restaurant experience!!! The owner lady and the server lady are kind, attentive and lovely people. They make me feel at home whenever I come in. You can rest assured that they’ll take great care of you.
Also, they serve the most heartwarming oxtail phở in the Fort. I got it to go and enjoy it dearly at home today!!!
