Best ice cream around! The staff is so friendly, and fast! Their food is really good too! Very good prices. The portion sizes are a little small, but I didn’t mind too much. The menu is huge since the new owner bought it! I try coming here whenever I’m visiting family from out of state. They definitely deserve a ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review!

I stopped by while I was in the area because, of course, it’s a priority. I ordered the Cotton Candy flurry. Absolutely delicious! It was a hot day, so the shade from the pavilion was so nice! All the changes I’ve seen so far have been nothing but positive!

Stopped here a few times. Great little spot of an ice cream treat. Tried to order french fries one evening and was told kitchen was closed, though no signs were up alerting the long line of customers. Tried the next day for food again and had a good experience with taste and would order the cheeseburger with fries meal again.

Stopped in on my way home from a car show. I ordered a medium amaretto cherry cone and was overly surprised at the size for the cost. It was much larger than I’d expected and it was very good. Ordering was fast, but waited maybe 10 minutes to get it.

Cute little ice cream shop, with very nice employees. We enjoyed our trips here to cool down with some frozen treats while staying in the area. Only negative is they didn’t have many dairy free options! I got the slush. They did have lactose free but that’s not helpful for people allergic to milk protein.
Update: I did inquire about the Dole whip but your team did not know if it was 100% dairy-free AKA vegan. I understand there is a small percentage of people with a true allergy and I appreciate the options you had. I would have surely ordered the Dole whip had The team been more informed but I just couldn’t risk it.

I don’t usually write negative reviews but I have been coming to Crystal for several summers and have seen this ice cream shop go through multiple owners. Since the most recent change in ownership, the experience has not been the same. There has been several instances where mine or someone else’s order has been prepared incorrectly. I understand this happens sometimes as the employees are human, but it has happened much too frequently. Since Ike’s is the only place to get ice cream in Crystal, I keep coming back hoping that things will change. Unfortunately, they have not. Also, the sizing does not make sense. Depending on who is working, the ice cream portions differ. I would love to continue to be a regular customer, but I have been disappointed too many times.

The food is a 7/10, though does shine through in parts, and is surprisingly great for what used to be a simple ice cream shop. Great burgers! Just make sure you have the room after the ice cream!
As for the location, the new awning was a good idea. Now, while the lines during summer will still be long (they always have been), you can cool down, relax, and get some rest from the sun.
Many good memories here. Many continue to be made. Ike’s is Crystal, and I love them for it.
