Miss Jean and her staff know how to serve up some good southern food. Everything here was as good as you gramma made.
Some of the comments here are off point. If you want quick service with chain style food, don’t come here. If you want a home cooked meal with a down-home family atmosphere which takes some time, please do come. They treat everybody with love and respect here.

It was good!!! She invited me children and I to come eat breakfast back in November for free. I had moved into my new place and was waiting for my fridge and stove to get delivered. The hospitality was great and she welcomed us. I Loved the food! You don’t meet to many people like her.

I needed food last minute for 50 guests over the weekend. Jean was amazing! Took my order over the phone and had everything ready 2 days later. The food was delicious. Everyone loved it and the prices were affordable. I will definitely be ordering again especially for catering!!

We arrived on Easter Sunday at 1:45 as the place is supposed to open at 2p. We waited in a long line in the hallway until almost 3pm. The ticket prices were increased to $25 per person due to the holiday (to be expected), however my mother was supposed to be discounted when she mentioned a special code so she brought 7 other guests with her. The code was denied at the door and my mother had to pay $200! Outrageous! We proceed to sit down and continue to wait YET AGAIN as they are still not fully set up. Around 330 ish, the patrons who were taking their food to go was called up to the buffet first and those who were dining in were called by table. My mother who is a church elder/pastor was asked to pray over the food, and they called her table dead last!!!! The audacity!!!! I decided to jip the line and get my mother a plate. She was only able to stomach the baked chicken and baked macaroni as all the other hot food items either were entirely too salty or did not taste good. Overall as we attempted to eat what we could, and all 11 of us decided we will NEVER EVER return. From the wait time, to the food, to the customer service, this place deserves 0/5 stars and a RETURN visit from restaurant rescue or CHEF GORDON RAMSEY. This is me actually leaving a “nice” review…

My family and I have tried to order food from this establishment on multiple occasions, and each time we turn away due to the long wait for service.
The food smelled like it would have been delicious, but because of the poor professionalism we never got a chance to experience it for ourselves.
The staff were not rude, but they did not meet my expectations of being a part of a business.

The food was delicious. The servers weren’t very friendly and one was quit rude. It was my first time there and she was very inpatient. The music was loud and it was hard to fellowship while trying to talk over the music. The food was great though.

Unfortunately, the sign outside had open at 1130 am. However, the door was locked. When I called to see if someone would open the door, I was told that they were out catering until 1 pm. The lady seemed to want to argue; learn from lessons taught by Gordon Ramsey a few years back OR NOT! No sign on door regarding late arrival, no sorry for inconvenience, just poor business practices and customer service.

I tried this place 3 times. Never again. Drove 30 minutes just to go there. Called before I got there, they said they were open. 30 minutes later I arrive and they’re closed. One time got there when they opened. The open sign was on, the website said they were open, door was locked at 1:15pm. These people are extremely unprofessional. I’ll continue to drive a little further to Gibsons. Their food is better anyways and they have great customer service.

The food is very good, but the staff is unprofessional and a little rude. Twice I’ve walked into the restaurant during posted business hours and waited patiently while the staff basically ignored me. Eventually (both times), someone came over to tell me in a dismissive manner that they weren’t serving lunch because of a catering or buffet engagement. I understand that bigger events mean more money, but they could at least post when they aren’t open to the public during regular hours. Or put a sign on the door and lock it to keep would-be customers from coming in and waiting for nothing. And there is just a professional way to speak to people, both times I was pretty much dismissed. I won’t be back.
