I wanted to love Quinn’s Kitchen and Bar in Bay Village. The spot has a lot of potential—it’s cozy, the decor is modern (if you don’t mind the eclectic animal portraits), and the menu sounds amazing on paper. But after my recent visit, I’m left feeling a bit conflicted.
The Good
The food really is the highlight here. We started with the Buffalo Shrimp with the blue cheese sauce, and they were bit salty.
For mains, the Steak lives up to the hype. It was cooked in the best way possible.
The Bad
The Noise: It gets loud. The acoustics are rough, so if the place is full (which it usually is), you end up shouting across the table just to have a conversation. It’s not the spot for a quiet, intimate dinner.
The Service: Our server was nice enough, but clearly overwhelmed. It took about 16-20 minutes just to get our initial drink order (the Blueberry mule was tasty, but the wait was painful).

Highly recommend a visit here for an incredible meal and experience! Amazing food, atmosphere and service. Quinn‘s wedge salad is beyond compare. The appetizers were all fantastic and we tried many. Burgers were raved about. The lemon chicken was spectacular. And for you peanut butter lovers, do not miss the peanut butter bomb. Our whole party was entranced by this delectable dessert. The dining room is beautiful and provides a wonderful atmosphere to enjoy what I consider to be the very best food I have had in the area. Come here any time for any occasion with your friends and family for an everyday or special celebration- you will not be disappointed,. A solo visit to the bar or at a table would also be enjoyable here. I have been here more than once and consider it my favorite restaurant for the food most definitely but also atmosphere ( beautiful and conducive to conversation) and wonderful service. Had the absolute pleasure of having Alex as our server here on two occasions and really appreciated her excellent service. Another return visit yielded yet another amazing dining experience- Francesca at the bar is amazing, fun, and friendly. I had the Tuscan Chicken today – a fast new favorite among favorites! Check out the seasonal menu and daily specials too – enjoyed an apple cider Margarita today!

My new favorite restaurant on the west side. Hands down one of the top 5 meals I have ever eaten (Blackened Chicken Risotto). Service was fantastic and meals came out perfectly timed and hot. Drinks were good and wedge salad was solid. Apps also good with good variety. Will definitely be back.

This restaurant was amazing and the staff was so kind. We went for Valentine’s Day and it was one of the best meals. We got steak risotto, lemon pepper chicken, and the peanut butter cookie. Would 100% visit here again. Even gave us a ring pop at the end and a Valentine’s Day card to start.

Been in the area for work and didn’t know this place was a block away from me. What a find! The service was amazing. Attentive but not overbearing and very friendly. It felt like you were amongst friends. Obviously many locals that do know each other and the staff helps with the family feel. Food was very good. And even the dessert I had was made in house. Many risotto selections. I had the pretzel board for starter, Walleye Picatta Risotto, and banana pudding for dessert.

My husband and I came here for the first time for my birthday. The service is amazing. Our waitress was really sweet. So was the host. Unfortunately the food wasn’t that good. The cauliflower was steamed and just tossed with buffalo sauce. It’s the first time
Ever we’ve come across just steamed grilled cauliflowers tossed in buffalo sauce. We always had them breaded at every restaurant with that on the menu. The fish and chips, the fish had a lot of bones in it. We weren’t too impressed with the food.
But the service was great. Probably won’t visit again. But they do have cheap drinks.

The atmosphere blends small twon charm with chic touches. The service was attentive and warm. However, the pacing of the meal was off—our entrees arrived before the salads. Still, the food was flavorful and fairly priced. It’s definitely a worthwhile experience. I look forward to going again.

Kelly was our waitress on Saturday at Quinn’s and she was wonderful. She was very personal, took the time to carefully write down our order, and paid great attention to every detail throughout the meal. Her service truly made the experience enjoyable.
I do wish the menu hadn’t changed. The salmon used to be my favorite dish, but the sides are different now and the salmon portion has significantly decreased in size. While the food wasn’t quite what it used to be, Kelly’s excellent service absolutely stood out and made our visit a positive one.

First time visiting this establishment. My dining partner (not a brussel sprout fan), was encouraged by our server, Yomi, to try the flash fried brussel sprouts. They were delicious. Salmon was perfectly prepared; crispy skin with a yummy creamy maple sauce, pan fried sweet potatoes and grilled asparagus. The fettuccini Alfredo with blackened shrimp was decadent. I’d come back and sit at the small but cozy bar on a warmer night. We made reservations and were happy we did. They had live music on Thursday which added to the enjoyable and cozy atmosphere. We noted that we were still able to carry on a conversation while enjoying the music. This place was hopping on a frigid a January evening. Will definitely return.

Quaint little place to have a drink, a bite to eat, and a good conversation with someone. I had the crispy beef tacos with salad. The beef in the tacos was as tender as can be. My daughter had the chicken sandwich. I saw her take the first bite, and after a quick word with a friend, I looked at her, and she was taking the final bite–it was that good! The friend ordered veggies and risotto. He kept saying how delicious the risotto tasted. Our desserts were fabulous too–blood orange sorbet, banana pudding in its own special bowl, and vanilla bean ice cream with a peanut butter cookie + chocolate sauce, I think. It was too big for our friend who took most of the cookie home in a bag. The atmosphere was quiet with great renditions of some of the most popular music in recent years beautifully sung over the sound system. I would go back for dinner here anytime.
*We went at 4 PM. The servers began asking if guests had reservations since the place began to get busy by the time we left.
