Came around 5pm on a Friday and it wasn’t crowded. I had the fried pickle chip appetizer and a Reuben sandwich. My husband ordered the Last Resort loaded fries and a mushroom Swiss burger. I thought my food was very good. Husband said his burger wasn’t the best but certainly not the worst. The Last Resort fries chef kiss

As a cook, I am rather partial to my food. With that said, I had the classic burger and my taste buds were soooo happy.
The burger is now in my top three burgers.
My burger, Rocky’s burger in San Diego and now, The Last Resort is on my list and I look forward to my next one.
Besides the burger, it’s obvious the owner cares, too. From the Christmas decor to staff, a truly great experience.

What a hidden gem this place is. Right on the riverfront! The atmosphere and decorations add to the excellent dining experience we had. I ordered the Beach BBQ Burger and my husband had the Fish Basket with a side of Mac and Cheese. All of the food came out hot and delicious. The burger was definitely hand made and quite tasty. My husband was raving about the fish. I had a taste of his and agreed! We were able to meet the owner and shared our wonderful experience. Our server Charlotte took care of all of our needs. I highly recommend the Last Resort. We will most definitely be back.

The big plus is the location it’s a beautiful place and it’s a nice place to eat. The wait staff was very nice and pleasant. The first thing they need to go is go to the dollar store and buy some decent utensils, everyone got steak or crispy chicken salad, we got the tiniest little forks I ever saw and a knife would have been nice. We were not real happy with the quality or the amount of meat that was in the salads. Like I said give him a chance they need to get things figured out.

Great restaurant situated on the Ohio River with a beautiful view! Coastal themed decor inside and out! Bright beautiful colors! We had dinner on the outside patio! I had the chicken wrap (the absolute best chicken wrap) with the sweet potato fries and my mom had the fish sandwich! We both ordered the same thing that we had last time as it was so delicious! In addition to the food being delicious, the service was outstanding and the staff is very enthusiastic! This is such an added plus in my book! One of the owners even took the time to talk with us! There are also corn hole games in the sand outside overlooking the river! It was a beautiful night and dinner on the patio was just what we needed! Great spot! They also have live entertainment! For those of you out of town, it is definitely worth the drive to Toronto, Ohio!

We had lunch there yesterday, and it was fantastic! Beautiful view, tasty food, and the service was awesome. Our waitress was incredible! We ordered the fried pickles for an appetizer. I had the grilled chicken salad, and my boyfriend had the fried chicken and cheese Pittsburgh style sandwich. Everything came out fast and tasted great. I definitely recommend the fresh cut fries.

Yuck. Wish I could give a zero. We tried to book a party for 35 people in their outdoor bar away from the main restaurant. Drinks, appetizers, during the afternoon. Would not have interfered with their restaurant business. Talked to a young lady who was supposed to be one of the owners and she said yes, sounds fine. Told me to call her. Left her several nice messages. We were very flexible about the time and all aspects of the event. Would not call me back even when I called the restaurant. The second time I called the restaurant the woman was very rude and said she is not available. Sounded very sleazy and I’m glad we did not have a party there. I don’t know whether this place is going out of business or what but it seems sketchy. Very immature. It’s a very nice location and it’s too bad this place can’t find a good owner. I think it’s fine for lunch, but I would never dock my boat there or book an event there because I’m afraid you will lose your money. We wasted a whole week with this.

Jen, the cook made me the most amazing barbecue burger! The owner Dave is very personable and willing to meet and exceed expectations. The view of the water is gorgeous and worth having a drink over. Can’t forget the waitresses neither because they were easy to talk to and made me feel welcomed. I came from an hour out and it felt like home. Overall, would recommend this place to my best of friends and family.
