We had such a great experience at Pinyon.
From the moment we walked in (without a reservation), we were greeted by multiple staff members and immediately felt welcomed. The wait was short, and they even served us drinks while we waited which set the tone right away.
The service was attentive without being overbearing, and the entire team was genuinely friendly. You can tell they care about the guest experience.
The cocktails were creative and well balanced, and the food was truly delicious. Every dish felt thoughtful and well executed.
Great energy, great service, great food exactly what you want for a Scottsdale date night.
We’ll definitely be back.

We’ve already been to Pinyon four times (lunch, happy hour, and dinner twice) and it has been *consistently* excellent every single visit. The food is always fresh, hot, and seriously delicious.
From the moment you walk in, the staff is amazing. You’re warmly greeted, the service is top-notch, and the team really makes you feel taken care of. Huge shoutout to Taylor, Leo, Alecia, and Fuad — outstanding across the board. Even the goodbye at the end of the meal feels thoughtful and genuine.
The space itself is beautiful with very intentional, stylish décor. The patio and upstairs areas add so much charm.
Every dish we’ve tried has been great, but standout starters for us are the pistachio labneh, yellowtail crudo, oysters, and beef carpaccio. The mains are all really good too — honestly too many to list. The Hugo Spritz is also a hit… light, refreshing, and perfect.
And **do not skip dessert**. The baklava cheesecake is a must-try — creamy, crunchy, gooey, and absolutely perfect.
I recommend making a reservation as it’s always busy. So happy to have this spot in the neighborhood. We’ll definitely keep coming back.

My friend and I came here on Valentines Day with 6:30 “priority seating reservation.” Located by the Scottsdale Performing Arts Center, parking in the free garage was plentiful. Upon arrival we were greeted and were told our table will be ready shortly. The place is big and offers patio, bar and main seating areas. Being a Saturday along with the Valentines Day factor, the place was packed. In addition a lot of people waiting outside. We were seating within 8 minutes of our arrival at a great table facing the open kitchen which I love to watch. There was a bit of a wait before Fuad introduced himself as our server. He did apologize, due to the crowd, and it was smooth sailing from then on.
We ordered cocktails while looking over the menu. BTW they make great Cosmos and Martinis. My friend and I ended up sharing 4 dishes, Spiced Olive and Feta Hummus, Yellowtail Crudo, Gambas Y Ajillo and the Beef Carpaccio. All the food was presented well and tasted great. We will definitely be back to try other menu items. To note: excellent marketing to send the customers home with a little box of chocolates for Valentines Day.

Dined here not long after their opening had an excellent experience. We sat at the upstairs bar, and the service was exceptional, every bartender checked on us multiple times to make sure we were enjoying everything. Their attention to detail and enthusiasm made the entire meal feel really welcoming.

After hearing about Pinyon and seeing photos of the restaurant we had to get out and try it! The restaurant is gorgeous and feels very high end & lively. It is open to the outdoors where you can overlook the park. We had a great server who walked us through the menu and gave us great food recommendations.
Our favorite dish was the Eggplant Napoleon, which was served over a tomato paste sauce and included arugula pesto. I need to recreate this dish, we loved it! The different hummus’ were amazing and had such unique flavors, I loved the pistachio one. The seared feta is another great appetizer that is easy to share and packed with flavor. Everything we had was great, and I look forward to going again to try more of the Mediterranean cuisine.

Food – soo delicious. We got the carpaccio (delicious) and baked feta (keep in mind, it is sweeter than you expect, but still delicious. Make sure to grab pita or toast for it). We also grabbed two spritzes. They were delicious as well (super massive, they are on a sweeter side as well).
Service – outstanding. We sat at the bar and all bartenders were incredibly nice. After our meal, we had a manager talk to everyone at the bar to ask about their experience. It was very thoughtful.
Atmosphere – very cozy and comfortably upscale. You don’t feel like you are underdressed, but you also can wear something really nice here. Great for lunch or a special occasion.
Overall – highly recommend.

Another birthday dinner and another wonderful dinner choice. A new one in Old Town Scottsdale. Neveah was our server and she had tried everything on the menu so we felt comfortable in her recommendations. Started with hummus and the breaded feta. Dinner was lamb Kafka, shrimp skewers. The restaurant provided some birthday options including the feta cheesecake baklava. There were some good NA drinks and an interesting Arak Mediterranean liquor. No complaints and being right next to the Scottsdale Performing Arts center makes it a great choice for a date night visit.

We absolutely loved the experience we had here for the first time! The hummus itself was so good, we got two different ones & devoured both. The pitas are made to order, & you can tell. So fresh & chewy, I would’ve been satisfied if that was all we ate! My husband got the lamb, he said it wasn’t bad, he did eat it all but said he prob wouldn’t order it again but wasn’t mad he got it. I was going to order the chicken skewers, but the waitress suggested the pan roasted chicken instead, which I appreciated! It was great & I would order again. The baklava cheesecake was also SO good!! We also got complementary macarons for our anniversary We will definitely be back for the hummus, pitas & to try other things on the menu!
