I walked in with the city boys cause only city boys can eat at the karma restaurant. Then I asked for the menu and the waiter told me “There’s no menu, you get what you deserve”. After we finished eating, the waiter asked me “where did you find the nes for the Nintendo switch, I’ve been trying to find the Wii u for years” We than paid $67 and got a $41 haircut at Adrian’s barbershop where he explained the friend group to us. After getting a haircut from Adrian, we bought a property in Egypt and what they did for us was give us the property. Me and the city boys had a good time at the karma restaurant, Adrian’s barbershop and were now enjoying life on our property in Egypt.

I never write google reviews but after going to Karma for dinner, it was a must.
I saw Karma all over my instagram being one of the best Indian food places in the Philadelphia area so I gave it a try.
At first glance, the lights were super dim and it felt like i was sitting in a basement. The server came and i asked to order juice or soda but “They didn’t have any” even though it is advertised on their online menu..
We ordered the paneer tikka and it came with 5 small pieces and more than 15 pieces of onion. For the price we paid, not worth it at all. The reason i was most disappointed was when we ordered our main course.. I asked the waitor for a new plate and he stated “you can just use this one”. The appetizer plate was super small and was messy from the chaat and paneer I had eaten. I could not even fit rice, naan, and paneer on the appetizer bowl/plate they gave. I was shocked when the waiter said “We dont have more plates”.
Food wise, the portions for appetisers were small and the butter naan was like paper. The advertisements are completely false all over the internet. I am VERY disappointed.

Food was excellent and they customized a bit per our requests. Chicken Saagwala was fantastic. Very casual atmosphere. Service was good and owner was proactive in ensuring we enjoyed our meal.

I recently deejayed a party here. It was successful. The manager and staff were very helpful with my clients event. I duct have any information on the taste of the food but if you are looking to throw an event here it is a great location.
The only problem you would have is the stairs for the second level. Not handicap accessible.

I have been to many Indian Restaurants in Philly and this is by far the best and my new favorite. All of our dishes were cooked to perfection and our plates were clean by the end of our visit at Karma. The owner was very friendly and made great conversation with us!

Food was very good, and very tasty. It was extremely flavorful and yet very tender and juicy. The grilled chicken had an immense smokey flavor and beautiful spices. Everything was very well done. Staff was very friendly.
