We went for lunch today. As others have noted, this food has extra flair! The service was outstanding as was the food! We had the guacamole, queso blanca, and elote fritters for appetizers. Especially LOVED the queso blanca and the fritters. Omg so delicious!! Then, my hubby had the beef shoulder entree. I had the cheese Tex Mex enchiladas. Outstanding!!! Definitely coming back!

GREAT PLACE! More than just your average plain Mexican cuisine. Every dish I’ve tried is a little bit different than what you would expect and always has something in it to add a little twist and a little extra flavor. On top of the food being phenomenal, the service is over the top! When I walk in, by the time I sit down there’s usually a drink and chips and salsa already waiting for me. The servers are awesome and the manager is on point and super nice! She pays attention to her establishment and makes adjustments accordingly to ensure her customers have the best dining experience possible! She’s a VERY hard worker and knows her stuff! By far one of my favorite places to just stop in and have a beer or to take a date to a classy place!

Delicious. Not your average Mexican food; dishes have a twist and flair! Complimentary chips and salsa when you’re seated. The restaurant itself is clean with nice decor. Staff was very friendly. Eva, our server, was fabulous. I recommend the pork belly tacos ! Spent $60 for two entrees and two drinks.

New restaurant in town we had to try. The service was excellent, very attentive! The atmosphere is nice, family friendly, low music so you can hear conversations. The food is unique and flavorful. I had the Tex Mex enchiladas and they were different than any I have had before. Not too spicy but very delicious. The guacamole was very good too, and we got chips and salsa no charge.

Chips and salsa are great! Quesabirria tacos outstanding! The meat is super tender. Next time I will order with no onions as I feel like it was way too many onions. Just my opinion though. The consume was very flavorful and the rice and beans were delicious. Definitely recommend trying this place. I did take out and everything was hot and fresh.

Stopped in today (opening day) and was beyond impressed with food, interior, management, etc. Cute photo op area, and the mural behind the bar is stunning. Food came out hot and fresh, including the house fried chips. Salsa(s) were delicious, and the menu was carefully curated so all the flavors work together for the perfect bite. We’ll definitely be back!

This was my first visit to Don Jose’s. I ordered the Chicken Enchiladas, beans, rice, chips and salsa. I also asked if they had a hot sauce. WOW! The enchiladas were amazing!!! The sauce on top was flavorful. The rice and beans were seasoned well. The hot sauce was very spicy, which I liked and the salsa was great. I’ll definitely be back!

I’ve been anxiously awaiting for Don Jose’s to open and I wasn’t disappointed. Despite it being the first day it was open to the public, things ran quite smoothly. The chips were good and the salsa was outstanding! My chicken fajitas were delicious and my husband really like his cheese quesadillas. Although the refried beans weren’t to my taste (I’m not a fan of lots of cumin so they were most likely good if you like that) and the Mexican rice was pretty average. Our food came out quickly and the portions were generous. The remodel was nicely done with lots of comfortable booths. We will definitely be back for more!
