I’ve been going to this place for a few years now. This was the absolute worst I have ever seen it. The place was not close to being busy. It was a week day. The tables were all covered with dishes, drinks, and unused food. The waitress seemed lost. Waited over 30 minutes for our drinks. We ordered an appetizer, and of course it came out cold. Because it was made before the drinks and she could not get the drinks out before the food. Fries were cold along with the flat bread pizza. Waited another 20 minutes for another drink. Literally had to stack cups on the table like the leaning tower of Pisa just to get them removed from the table. We were sadly disappointed in this trip to say the least. I do not wish to contact corporate or email anyone. I am not looking for free food or any special treatment with this review. I just want people to know what they are getting after traveling a long way. Such a beautiful place just poorly managed.

Expensive for what you get. Change the oil in the fryer. Our fish looked burnt and had pieces of other fried foods attached to our fish. Fries were not hot or even warm. 2 drinks from the bar 25.00 15% tax. Took over 25 minutes for 2 fish and fries. Get rid of all the large spider webs around the lights above people’s tables. I understand it’s Halloween but those spider webs are not decorations. Another couple left because of the very long wait time for burgers and fries. We didn’t complain to our server because it’s not her fault. Our server did a great job. I recommend the cafe or snack locations in the park instead of this restaurant.

The Southwestern chicken egg rolls are a must try. We also had cheeseburgers and fries. The burger was basic in flavor but very tasty fries. The atmosphere is comfortable and they offer indoor or outdoor seating.

Beautiful location for meals. The atmosphere is excellent! The food is generally boring. The burgers were over cooked and the meat was dry. The fish and chips were ok but nothing to write home about.

The food was good but the atmosphere was amazing! As we walked up to the hotel the fire pit was burning and we walked inside it just gave you all the cozy vibes! We didn’t stay the night but we did eat at the restaurant. We had a 45 min wait so we sat at the bar that over looked the lake. The food was good I had the chicken breast smothered in cheese onions and peppers. And my husband enjoyed the fish and chips. They have some local beers on tap and some nice cocktails. I definitely want you to go back and stay at the lodge and enjoy this park!

We ate there Monday, Nov 17th, quiet afternoon. Started with hush puppies, had a cup of red pepper with gouda cheese soup, both were very good. Had the fish and chips for entrée, banana pudding and coffee to finish it up, best meal out we have had recently. Waitress was very attentive and pleasant and we enjoyed the beautiful view of the lake. Even though 1 1/2 hours away, we will be back!

Yummy stuffs and beer with a view. Great drive to there as well. You take the time to stop over at the short hike to the falls overlook.
