They didnt ask how we wanted the burger cooked but they cooked them to about a medium, which was fine with us because thats how we normally eat our burgers anyway. We also ordered the Butterfly Lemonade and while it could have been a tad sweeter, its really a small thing and not going to knock them for that. They also have outdoor seating which is great because the restaurant has some good scenery.
The 2 things that threw us off and maybe me more than my wife, were the 2 dogs that were in, yes IN, the restaurant and the flies. The owner has 2 dogs that were able to freely roam the floor, and while nice, they obviously do not belong anywhere near where people are eating food, especially an adult husky, who, thankfully, decided to shake away from our table. There were also multiple flies and wasps flying around and that’s an easy fix that I just think may not be at the forefront of the owners’ minds, but should be.
In all, it’s a great restaurant, with a great menu in a town where there’s not many top notch options for food. But is hampered by just a few house keeping issues. And while the dogs weren’t a terrible issue, its just the fact that they shouldn’t be in a restaurant. If you can overlook those couple of things, then this place is definitely a great place to have some really good food.
The Asian calamari was delicious and not too greasy. Everything was fresh and made to order. Looking forward to going back and trying more!
The property is set back from the main road and looks cute from a distance… up close could use some TLC. The deck is in need of a good cleaning and staining.
The inside is cute and a mix of a dining room, bar/counter/display. I got their draft lager and an order of bread sticks. The wife got a 3 wine sampler and boozy gelato . We sat on their patio to enjoy our drinks and snacks.
With tax and tip it was just shy of $30.
It was very relaxing sitting out on the nice deck.
