Saw the piece on channel 3 about local stores and they mentioned this bakery. Had to check it out. Great place. Owner was working the front counter, explained everything and told us what all the items were. Everything tasted great, we will make this a regular stop. I’m not even going to try to name the items in the picture but they were all great. I also got a chocolate iced donut that somehow disappeared before I could take the picture.

Very Friendly service, informative about their products, as they are not common in typical bakeries; clean atmosphere.

I had a question about the name and what one of the tasty treats was that I had bought. I called and left a message. The owner returned my call that evening!

If it is courteous, personable service and sweet comfort treats that you are looking for around Arcola, check their hours- currently not open Sun-Tues, and stop in the Panaderia on Main Street in Arcola!

There is a reason they run out of their doughnuts, they’re the BEST. If you haven’t tried them you need to, family owned and operated. Wonderful customer service and reasonably priced. 10/10 we will be back. My adult kids, husband and Mother all loved them. Soft texture and absolutely delicious. Get there early the locals in town clears them out early for a reason. Sooooo soft, fresh YUM!!

Finally, we made it on a Saturday first thing when we got into Arcola this morning. I’ve been trying to get these sandwich & hamburger buns forever.
These aren’t your typical homemade fresh breads. Believe me, you won’t find them in any regular bakery, thats what makes their products so good. The owner & her son were so friendly and helpful as well. She had a few packages of buns left, mind you, I was so elated big time. I’ve tried to find these at other bakeries, and believe me when I say it’s not possible seriously!
I found them, as Vitas restaurant uses them for their sandwiches. They are so light and fluffy along with tasty as can be for real. Now you know we just didn’t find them. Oh no, little brother took a look at her pastries, too, of course.
One of her big sellers ate corn muffins, but now I can’t tell you what they taste like just yet, but stay tuned, please.
Now this other mexican pastry, I’m not sure of the name yet. Here’s my definition of this delicious mexican pastry. I think, not for sure. It’s one of their breads, in the middle is like a cream cheese pastry cream with strawberry and then it’s glazed, did you hear me it’s filled & glazed but so much lighter than a donut dough. I was in heaven with this new Mexican pastry, I’ll get the name promise. So overall people you need to check the days & times for the bakery. Then, get your butt over there as I’m not exaggerating at all. This is a fabulous bakery, and it is rare to find one on top of it. I’ve tried. Oh yes, I’ve tried. Nothing will compare seriously
Support your locally-owned family business to keep them in our communities.
Big shout out to the owner & her son for being so sweet & and helpful, along with letting Skippy come in as well. See you in the spring for sure. Well, be back!

It was closed today. I will be back by it to get their wonderful baked goods. They have a hamburger bun that’s to die for and really great baked goods.

I’m visiting all the way from Biloxi, MS. As soon as I heard there was a panaderia here, I was so excited to visit. So far I’ve only tasted the concha and pan de muerto, but everything was fantastic! A fluffy, moist crumb to the bread, sweet but not overbearingly so. Not to mention decently priced for hand baked goods. I think I’ll be back many times before I have to leave Arcola!

Tried a variety of donuts, concha, and their yummy biscuits (which would go great with sausage gravy!) everything was delicious, donuts were so soft and moist, the concha with Nutella and cinnamon were great variations too! Will definitely be back to try more, thank you for bringing your small business to downtown Arcola

Everything looked and smelled so delicious. I couldn’t wait to get back to work to eat my concha and ended up with crumbs and sugar all over me before pulling out my parking spot. So good.
