At the end, I told the cashier, I want another burrito due the 90% percent of rice. And the cashier only smile and said. I have to charge you extra for another burrito. Please, do not waste your money here. They have no, customer service. Do Not Buy A Burrito that has 90% Rice.

Similar in format to Chipotle, this is fast casual Mexican with a more authentic flare. My beef bowl was topped off by more toppings than I could count. All of which went down my hatch both spicily and smoothly with mint limeade. The staff was polite and informative in helping me navigate through the system that was both new and familiar. There were Daily Specials, except for some reason not on Monday? As I ate, I enjoyed the food. I went from loving it, to mostly liking it. I sense that there was a better menu selection I could have chosen. I also do enjoy Chipotle for what it is, and I like Mexican food. This place is in the middle. A “good enough”middle, that’s got me reasonably satisfied and curious to try again at some point.

I’ve been here dozens of times and it’s always great. Love Cafe Rio and the menu selection. The staff is great and the restaurant is clean. This one has a nice outdoor seating area next to a fountain as well.

The sweet pork salad is my go to. One thing I do to make it my own is adding a little salsa fresca as my dressing.
Can’t eat there without getting a DELICIOUS tres leches cake. (we tipped it over in the car on the way home so the whipped cream doesn’t look pretty in the picture but it was just as delicious)
For young kids they offer a “Nino quesadilla” a plain quesadilla with an orange slice for free. My girls have always loved it. Now as they’re older they get kid’s meals instead.

Really good Mexican food, if a little pricey. The sweet pork is excellent! Really enjoyable. The staff will sing to you if you’re a first-timer, which is fun and silly. But prepared to set down $15 for a burrito and drink. I’ll definitely be back, though.
