Came here after a date night and wanted something nothing to heavy and this was a random pick! Totally worth coming, from the moment you come in was welcomed by the owner so sweet and kind and told us what he recommended we decide on the chicken kebab and lamb chops with fried rice! They made it really fast and even though there was nobody here sitting eating and we were the only people , people should definitely try to stay and enjoy the food! 10/10Thank and we will definitely will be back!!

Le Bon Bon was absolutely incredible! I went with a large group, and from the moment we walked in, the owners made us feel like we were dining in their own home.
Now, let’s talk about the food. We ordered the beef kabobs, chicken kebabs, whole grilled chicken, fried tilapia, and lamb chops — all served with delicious sides. Every single dish had its own unique flavor and was packed with taste. The lamb chops were tender, juicy, and perfectly seasoned. The grilled whole chicken, topped with a spicy-sweet sauce, was charbroiled to perfection — crispy on the outside and succulent inside.
And whatever you do — don’t sleep on the Bon Bon Juice and the plantains! They’re the perfect sides and tie the whole meal together.
Each bite truly elevated my taste buds. Huge thanks to the Le Bon Bon team for their warmth and hospitality. Highly recommend giving these guys your support — they’ve earned it!

The food, atmosphere and service at Le Bon Bon is PHENOMENAL! I decided to stop by after I saw an online review. I made the right decision. The flavors in the food…just yum! I had the combo (lamb chops, beef and chicken kebabs), jollof rice, salad and plantains, along with a bon bon juice (the juice itself was worth the trip). The restaurant will definitely be put into my normal rotation.

Food is outstanding. Everything is made fresh and didn’t leave me feeling heavy despite being fried. I appreciate that it’s gluten free. I had the tilapia meal deal and bon bon drink. My friend had the chicken. We all had rice, fries and salad. Everything was flavorful. The owner is extremely friendly. We will definitely return and encourage locals to support this small business.

The food here is so yummy. My husband brought it home then I had to drive all the way to lisle just to get again the second day lol. The roasted chicken is so good both flavor and texture. My toddler is a picky eater but he will always finish his plate here.

A halal restaurant. We had dinner there and food was awesome. I really want to mention the staff in the shop, they are amazing and presented very well. There is menu deals available apart from their normal which is a good try. We can get different spice levels with their grilled chicken too. Overall, this place is recommended

Excellent!!! It was my first time here and my first time trying this cuisine. The owner was the only one there and let me tell you he was so nice. He gave my daughter a free tea to try which she enjoyed. I ordered lamb chops, plantains, and jollof rice. Took about 20 mins. The food was fresh and tasty, owner knowledgeable(I had questions on the differences between food from his country and other west African counties) and hospitable and the establishment was clean and welcoming. My daughter said it feels so clean in here, she’s 8. Needless to say we’ll be back

Everything I’ve tried here has been delicious, but the lamb chops and the plantains are exceptional. The cook does a great job with the meat and is quite liberal in the application of garlic butter. It’s decadent in the best way.

We got take out on a quiet Saturday night and was chatting with the very friendly owner while waiting for food. YALL do not sleep on Le Bon Bon! Try to stop by because food this good deserves to be experienced by all.
The lamb chops were easily the best I’ve had in a very long time. The meat in the lamb and grilled chicken was so tender and flavorful I didn’t want to stop eating because the flavor was so delicious! Make sure to get the Bon Bon juice which is very refreshing. Note that the dark orange dipping sauce is very very spicy (not white ppl spicy). My favorites were the lamb and the plantains. Le Bon Bon will definitely be in our rotation!
