Would I return? Definitely
DH and I like Mexican for breakfast, but didn’t want to drive to the other side of town for our typical spot. We decided to try La Fiesta because it’s close. The restaurant is next to the Eagles club and somewhat shares a parking lot, so if it’s busy in the morning, there’s plenty of parking.
Upon entry, you notice that the inside is as small as it looks on the outside. There are nearly a dozen tables to choose from and booths lining two walls. The sign told us to wait to be seated, but we decided to go with the flow of customers who entered after us and seat ourselves. There were not many customers.
The menu has no frills and contained breakfast items typically found at a Mexican restaurant. I ordered the huevos a la Mexicana with corn tortillas. The food came quickly and was hot. The food was initially what I expected and the sauce a little runny, but after my first taco, the flavors changed. The undertones of the food came out. Everything was well seasoned and the sauce enhances the flavors greatly. The corn tortillas were amazing as well.
The service, however, was very “hands off.” We saw the waitress for the drink order, food order, and food delivery. When we finished eating, we prebussed our table and waited for the ticket that never came. After some time, walked to the register to get it.

Horrible!! There is only one waitress and only one cook and it’s lunch.. Waitress never even looked at us until I said I wanted to substitute gravy for cheese on my enchiladas and waitress rudely told me it would be two dollars extra. What!? Then she brought us our enchiladas with nothing on it no cheese no nothing. When I asked she brought me a small bowl of shredded cheese. Idiot.. I used to come here with my parents all the time but never again..

I read some of the reviews and simply have to assume the low ones didn’t know what real Mexican food tastes like. I tried the chili relleno, adobo taco and beef enchilada. I give them 5 stars and will definitely be back.

We arrived and sat at the big table waiting for our friends. It took 15 minutes before a young man came to the table to ask what we wanted to drink.
The menu is a blackboard, they do have menus but the prices have gone up. The food tasted really good. I got the shrimp enchiladas with red chili sauce but there was not a lot of the sauce. Just a few shrimp in the enchiladas, no cheese or veggies cut up. I will go back but ask more about what you get.

If you want a classic eggs mexicana at a good price, come here. Best with added side of bacon! They forgot my tortillas one time & I came back & made the whole order fresh so it was hot & not microwaved. That’s why I give 4 stars instead of 5. How do you forget the tortillas, I dunno but they made it more than right.
