Nestled within the quaint confines of South Jersey Regional Airport in Lumberton, NJ, we are a family owned cafe that has been serving pilots and the public for over two decades! With seating only a few yards from the ramp, it’s a great spot to watch planes while enjoying breakfast (which is served all day!) or lunch. Our food is always fresh and the meals are cooked when the orders are placed. The eggs are freshly cracked and the sandwiches are sliced to order. Whether you drive in or fly, the Runway Cafe is a cozy spot for your next meal.

A great place to have breakfast or brunch. The food and service is great. There may be a short wait but it goes fast. Sometime’s you might get to watch planes or a helicopter land or take off. It’s best with 2 to 4 people but they’re very accommodating if you have a larger group.

This place is very unique. It’s kind of in the middle of nowhere, but worth the drive. Especially if you have kids (or a husband). Weather permitting there are small private planes coming and going. If you’re lucky you might get a table by a window and can watch the planes. The food is really good. There’s a very simple breakfast/lunch menu. The atmosphere is cozy, quiet, rustic. There was really good music playing at the perfect volume last time we were there.

I went to the museum here — the New Jersey Air Victory Museum and then walked over to the cafe to get some food. It was pretty busy which surprised me as it was an extremely cold morning. I think it was about 11AM but I ordered a cheeseburger and fries anyway! Really good and nice portions. I also had a coffee. The service and food was great. Didn’t see any planes take off or land but it was still fun and better than I expected. Next time I will try the cheesesteak.
